I have never received such great customer service from a dealership before. The high energy, friendliness and professionalism of our salesman, Ryszard, was unlike any I have experienced. He made us feel like we were the only customers in the place and left no detail untouched. Jeremy was also very helpful on pricing, etc and very friendly and personable. I leased my car last weekend and had to come in for a couple of service items this week (the car is a demo and I noticed a very small nick in the paint after I left and also needed to have a secind key made). Ryszard came in on HIS DAY OFF to ensure my experience went smoothly and the car was fixed promptly. I have driven Hondas for many years, and this is the 3rd CR-V I have bought or leased from a dealership. The first two were from Boch Honda in Massachusetts, and I can tell you - the service was ok there, but doesn't hold a candle to McGrath City Honda. I would definitely recommend this dealership, and in particular, Ryszard Chorosky, to everyone I know looking for a vehicle. And he's very entertaining and fun to be around on top of it all! more

There is no way this place has a legit 5 stars. They are total scum bags in the used car department. Check yelp and you will see they have 2 stars and its steadily decreasing. Its obvious everyone is having the same exact experience as I did. They will absolutely lie and cheat you. more

We had to take our car in for recall service and also some other minor things we wanted to get looked at. We were helped right away without a wait or an appointment. When we found the service would take most of the day they provided someone to give us a ride home at no cost. The service was done same day, for the price quoted, and while the service center closed at 4pm, there was someone to take payment and let us get our car until 8pm. No complaints at all. more

I had to bring my car in to get the recalls fixed on it. I regularly bring my car for an oil change and repairs here and I was glad Bill Miller was here to help me with the recall fixes. He is usually here when I come for my oil changes and I feel very comfortable with him. He always offers me good service, concise information and a friendly smile. When I come to McGrath I feel comfortable because I am familiar with the staff and it makes me feel home. I wish I could plug my laptop in by one of the couches though. I like that I can get onto the internet while I'm there. I regularly have a good experience here. I would recommend McGrath to others as well. Thanks McGrath City Honda! more

I must pay great respects to Elba Millares for being the very 1st person I spoke with at McGrath. Elba was very personable, professional and very willing to help. When I showed up the 1st day to speak with her she'd already left for the day however Mike S spoke with. I was very concerned about Elba getting the credit since she was my initial contact person. I must say even after I purchased my car monday, Elba called me Thursday to thank me for my purchase at McGrath and was willing to answer any questions. I thought that was over the top more

I am happy to provide feedback from my recent visit to McGrath Honda. I will start by saying that Bill Miller was an excellent service manager. I have had bad exeriences in the past with service managers at other Honda dealers so I decided to try out McGrath. I received such excellent service from Bill and the service tech RJ that I will continue to come to McGrath in the future even though it is much farther from my home than other Honda dealers. Bill was courteous, respectful, helpful, and honest. RJ went beyond his duties to fix the transmission problem that my Element was experiencing. After searching the Honda database, RJ found an ECM update for the transmission. My car drive like a different vehicle after the service. Because of Bill Miller and RJ I will continue to patronize McGrath Honda. more

I had been looking for a car for a few months and everywhere I went I had to deal with individuals who were looking to simply pad their bottom line. Jerry was upfront from the very beginning. After a normal back and forth negotiation I felt comfortable with my price but still felt I should think it over. Jerry was upfront and asked "if the right price is negotiated will I absolutely buy"? At the point I named the figure that would get me to drive out of there and Jerry made it happen. I have had my car for just over and month and have absolutely zero buyers remorse. more

Problem taken care of 5/12/2011

2007 Honda Odyssey. Brought into service for ECO problem. Was told motor mount was needed to be replaced. 1day job covered under warranty. Had the brakes done also while it was there. Brake job price was actually cheaper than quotes I received from local places. I made mention of that to the service writer and response was (Its brakes, you don't need much else and parts are not expensive or hard to find.) My rotors were good. I knew this, and the service writer confirmed it. Most brake shops will tell you that new rotors are needed. Excellent. Only problem...I needed a car to use for work. All the Honda loaners were out. Service writer took care of getting me a car from the rental agency. Problem taken care of. more

i just wanted to say that the service department is the best. bill miller and marlex rodriguez have been there for years and they service my car properly every time. i know i can trust them with any recommendations they give me. i am glad that bill and marlex are still there because those are the only 2 guys i trust... more

Very personable staff 5/5/2011

We went into McGrath City Honda today to look at a 2009 Civic Hybrid I had spotted in their online listings. Our salesman, Frank, was very personable and took us through our options with little pressure. When we decided to make the purchase he wrote everything up and then turned us over to their "closer" who gave us the usual pressure to purchase about 80 optional things (actually about 7, but it seemed like 80.) When we resisted there was minimal pressure. We then finished things up and were out of there in under 3 hours. more

McGarth City Honda did right by me. I had an oil change there and was overly surprised that it went well. Quick and simple/In and Out in no time. I wish all car service departments were created equally but they are not. Overall, my experience was livable. The oil change went without a hitch and the service manager was pleasant as well. more

Good experience 4/29/2011

I have had a good experience with these guys (I dealt with Bill). I went in to have the airbags on my Honda replaced because they had been recalled by the company, and while I was at it decided to make some needed repairs: timing belt package, and some other stuff. They got the repairs done fast and even lent me one of their cars for free while they were working on my car! Wow, that was cool. more

Made me feel like a valued customer 4/28/2011

Andy was friendly, thorough and accurately estimated the time and cost. When I was pulling out, I noticed a light on the panel and a strange noise w/ brakes. Not 1 but 2 service technicians came to help and ultimately discovered water on the brake pads causing the problem. They were attentive not dismissive and then Andy came out to ensure everything was taken care of. Overall a very pleasant experience that made me feel valued as a customer - a rarity these days. more

Professional and courteous 4/26/2011

My vehicle experienced an intermittent electrical short causing it not to start at times. This problem is not only very frustrating for me but extremely difficult for the mechanic to pinpoint. My service advisor Andy Sertler was very professional and courteous. He and the mechanic both explained the problem and the cost of the repair to my understanding. The service I received at McGrath was excellent and the cost of repair was very fair. Thanks Andy, when it’s time for a new car I’ll definitely be coming to McGrath. more
