Fair Finished Product, Bad working environment 8/7/2007

Having worked at McBay Tile for close to 2 years, I've seen many projects come together and look magnificent, also I have seen many track homes (non-custom) jobs be "slammed" in. If you're not the high budget customer, you have the tile slapped in with an end product looking scary after the "tight-white" grout sets and has air holes everywhere. I dare you to put a level on top of any production home's tile work and observe the results. And if you have ever worked for Brett, aka Burt, you know what it's like to work for a bi-polar coke head, under a new age dictatorship. I myself and many others have been scammed countless times of our overtime wages.. But the BBB knows that. more

Good Work 9/5/2006

I have worked for multiple builders in the area, and McBay Tile has been one of the many subcontractors that we use for tile. I find that out of all of our subs, we have seen very few return visits on jobs that McBay has done as compared to our other tile setters. They really know what they're doing when it comes to tile work and I have never had them be late on their projected schedule. more

Shady Hiring Process 5/17/2006

I recently applied at this company, and got accepted for an interview. I was given a date and time for the interview which was a week away. The day prior to the interview they called, and informed me that the position had already been filled. I was quite surprised as they had not even conducted the interviews completely. So, if they do this to their future employees, I can only imagine how their business runs. I was very put off by this, and will be sure that my friends and family do not use this company. more
