Mc Guire's Irish Pub Of Destin

Where to start with this awesome Irish pub (slash) eatery? Immediately upon walking into this dimly lit tavern, you are overwhelmed with hundreds of thousands of dollar bills (which are tagged by appreciative guests) all over the place... ceiling, walls, fans... there are stuffed animal heads watching you enjoy your meals and also some bras stapled to the bar by some very appreciative female guests. I didn't get a chance to try the steak (which is apparently their specialty), but I did have the amazing burgers (twice). I had a bacon/cheese and a mushroom/swiss (both amazing... and all burgers are 3/4 lb!) but didn't have the adventurous spirit to try the Wasabi burger, peanut butter burger or the hot fudge sundae burger (self-annoited as ""the worst""). As for their home-brewed beer... try the sampler first and then pick your favorite (which won't be easy to do, as they were all delicious). Bottom line: if you love burgers and beer, you absolutely must try this place if you're in the area. Pros: Amazing Burgers! Great home-brewed beer! First of all, this is the place to go if you're in a pinch and need approximately 100,000 $1 bills, as they are in plentiful supply. It is also a good place to go if you want good beer, good food, and various stuffed animals watching you as you enjoy your dinner. more

There were several in our party and all had something different. The food was the best. The prime rib just melted in your mouth. The seafood entrees were wonderful and the hamburgers are huge. McGuires is always fun. I've been to the original location in Pensacola and the Destin Location as well. The atomosphere is always fun. Sometimes they have a live band out on the patio. The view is great. The food is always good....the salads come with a bucket of dressing...you think I'm joking but I'm not! The burgers are as big as your head! You gotta check out McGuires if you are looking for some traditional Irish fun. Bring on the beer! Pros: Fun, Great Food, Beer Cons: Too much food! more

Oh my heaven this place was so fantastic I had to eat there a total of three times before my vacation ended. They make a melt in yer mouth steak, and the senate bean soup as a entree' is just to die for!!!!!!!!! They are also their own brewery and make the best beers, but they also make a root beer that is better than anything on the market!!!!!!!! Plus the atomosphere is awesome!!
