Jim Crutcher has the reputation of being the best orthopedic surgeon in town. Happily, I haven't had a chance to work with him first-hand, but my mom chose him for a hip replacement after considerable research, and his name was at the top of the list among her peer group - many of whom have been in for at least one complete joint replacement.
