There's no shortage of places in the valley to get a decent Italian meal. That's why the unbelievably rude treatment we were given last night is so shocking. Not just to our table, but to everyone in the restaurant.
As we were finishing our meal, the waitress asked if we would mind paying the bill so that they could close the register. "Please feel free to hang out and socialize. We just want to close the register," she said. "No Problem," we replied and paid our bills. Less than 10 minutes later, a guy storms out of the kitchen - not sure whether he was the cook or the owner - and angrily scolds the entire restaurant (We were not the only party there.) We are closed! You've been told to leave, so it's time for you people to get out of here."
The waitress attempted to apologize for his behavior, but my god. What kind of person does that? At no time did anyone say, "I'm so sorry, but we'd like to close up shop. Would you mind wrapping it up?" Nothing like that. LItterally a hostile rude verbal attack on the people who had just spent a bunch of money in your restaurant. The people at the next table over were as shocked as we were. I guess they don't like having customers in their restaurant on a Friday night. Well I'm going to do my best to make sure they never have to deal with that again. I'm going to warn everyone I know about this place.
Pros: Acceptably decent Italian food.
Cons: Rude and offensive treatment.
