Great Marketing/ Mediocre Food and Service 4/11/2011

Now I have high standards I guess but when I ordered Banana Peppers to go, I ordered a slice while I aited and a kids sized drink and my check was $13. So I asked about my bill and pointed out from the menu peppers are $6.95 and asked how the slice and drink could be an additional $6 more? The manager owner said ""oh were on a menu change"" that's not the right price. Sorry."" I just think to give great service he should have smiled gave me a 1.25 out of the register and say so you know for next time. The menu I picked up was on the register counter and I should have gotten the advertised price. Throw the old paper menus out and get new ones! To me, a smile and good service will bring people back. The slice of pizza was bad. Dry white crust i could not pull apart sauce dried up on the pizza. The peppers were ok. The manager had many opportunities while I waited but explained while I was eating the slice he raised the price b/c others restaurants did and mentioned to check our ad in the community mag. The decor of mazia's is way upscale with a granite counter for the service/cash register and pizza oven from california. I love the concept and it is nice inside. But the food is and service is not as nice and you can tell the high prices are going towards the price paid towards decor and counters of the restaurant. more

Not even a top 20 in WNY 8/31/2010

I have been going to Mazias Pizza for as long as I can remember but over the past few years the quality has gotten so bad that they only have one thing I will ever eat there again, the spagahetti and meatballs. The wings are so small and dry, bone dry that its like eating chicken jerky, the pizzas are always burndt to a crisp and the subs are full of old brown lettuce. The price for what you get is horrible, I have had better food from walmart frozen section such as the tyson chicken wings. Dont waste your time and money. more

Overrated Pizza Joint 2/14/2007

Mazias Pizza is overrated. There are so many better places to eat pizza and wings in the area. Stay home! Pros: Nothing Cons: Too many and not appropriate to mention on website more

Little town pizzaria BIG taste:) 1/20/2005

I have been going to Mazia's Pizza since they first opened. The pizza back then was excellent and has only improved. All the food there is phenomenal. I love the dining room called The Mediterranean Room. Great value for the price. Great family atmosphere. The owners are wonderful people as well:) Pros: Good value, Excellent quality, Friendly employees more

Great wings! 11/27/2004

I'll get in trouble for this, but it just shows how much we love their wings. It was our last night in the area and we had some Mazia's pizza and wings. My wife had a migraine and was getting sick but still would eat the wings in-between episodes, knowing that it would be another year before getting back to Mazia's. Mazia's was on our short list of pros when deciding where we're moving to the Buffalo area when I retire from the Navy. Pros: Wings more
