Family favorite 6/15/2009

Maya is the best Mexican restaurant in the Duluth area. The staff is always helpful, friendly and prompt. The food is fantastic, with a broad assortment of entrees and specialties. My favorite is Plato Mexicano (grilled strip steak, refried beans, rice and your choice of an additional item). If you are a margarita drinker, do NOT pass up their margarita. Plain on the rocks, or fruit blended, they are unrivaled in the Twin Ports area. more

Maya Family Restaurant 3/19/2006

Fantastic authentic Mexican food! Like many other Mexican restaurants, as soon as you sit at your table you get a basket of warm chips and fresh salsa. This alone is worth the visit. The salsa is a perfect blend of tastes.....not too spicy, but just enough tang and zip. I ordered the cheese enchilada combo and for right around $8, I got a huge platter of gooey and saucy enchiladas, fresh refried beans and zesty Mexican rice. Quick service even during the busy lunch hour and hot freshly prepared food! more
