Worth Driving For 5/1/2010

We drive 50 miles round trip to visit Max's. The ice cream is phenomenal. Max and Marsha treat everyone like family. We make the journey many times each year! more

Crazy and wacky flavors 3/30/2010

Hands down one of DC's top ice cream shops with crazy flavor combos that show how much thought Max puts into his creations and work. My personal favorite is the cookies and cream (with chocolate sprinkles), but I've always been a fan of their Coffee, Mozambique (vanilla with cloves, cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, etc.), and their Mexican chocolate.
