Had to actually report this company to local authorities. Asked repeatedly to NOT call (we are on the national do-not-call list, aren't interested, etc.) , but continued calling at all hours trying to sell a product we DID NOT NEED. more

I have work for this company and I think what we do is wrong! We are told to not take no for a answer and dont' let them tell you they dont' need a alarm system. The company is very shady and you will find that out very quickly when you start workiing there and buy the way you will get the job because thery hire everyone who comes to the interview. You will be required to set one lead a day and one sale a week if you dont ' you will be suspended for three days with no pay. You will work three weeks and then get a check for $156.00 after taxes that about covers my gas for that period.They will hold two weeks of your pay till they fire you for not making a sale a week. If you deceide to work here your husband should be the bread winner because you will lose your home,not pay your bill or be really disapointed when you see your first check and the ones that come after that. However, either he is stupid or just doesn?t care that he is losing a phenomenal amount of business and scores of energetic and qualified employees due to the inexperienced young man managing his telemarketing room. Employee turnover due to ?Hitler-like? management tactics is costing him a bundle. The lack of the most basic people skills and professionalism make the shifty beady-eyed Joshua unqualified to hold a position in management for any company. I just started working for Maximum Security as a sales rep two weeks ago. In my opinion, this is the best company that I have ever worked for, and I am 46 years old with many, many years of work experience. I am a very hard working, honest guy and I would not work for a company this is not top notch and also honest. At first, I too was skeptical - as matter of fact, I almost didn't go to the interview. But after interviewing with them, and meeting the management staff including the owner Andy Higgens, I decided to join the company.. The surprising thing to me was that the more that I found out about this company, and the management, the more impressed I was. The management staff is very dedicated to making the customer happy. I know this firsthand because whenever one of my customers has a problem, I have always gotten excellent response from management. I am new, but I have sold 8 systems in one week. One customer had a problem where one of her doors would set off the alarm after she armed it and tried to leave. The installer was new - he had many years of experience installing ADT, but he wasn't used to programming a Monitronics system. I went to my customer's house called my manager. Rather than have an installer come out, we decided to fix the problem right then and there. We re-programmed the system to meet every need of this one particular customer. I know it was a frustrating circumstance for the customer, and I apologized for the inconvenience, but the point is that once we knew there was a problem, we fixed it right away. We did this at 9:30 pm two nights ago. more

If you are like me, you probably dispise telemarketers. Maximum Security is the WORST regarding constant telephone calls. Although I am on the do not call list they continue to call. Every time I ask the representitive to take me off their list I am hung up on before I can finish my sentence. For this reason, I ask you not to use this company. more

Good rule of thumb to never provide personal information over the phone, especially when the caller is pushy and attempting to gain information and access into your homeThis company phoned us and the caller tried to lure us into accepting a free ""home inspection"" for home secuirty. He was condescending, very pushy, unprofessionally agitated when I declined his offer graciously. The caller concluded by hanging up in frustration. I suspect a scam of some sort. more

I won't even give this company 1 star... I made an appointment for 11:30 this morning. It is now 12:16 and no one has arrived. I tried to call the company to complain and cancel the appointment, but nobody answers their phone. I sure hope this is not reflective of their response times. more importantly, I hope they are not a scam company that has taken personal information from me with ulterior motives. Pros: who knows? They didn't show up! Cons: i have better things to do than wait for a company that doesn't have the courtesy to show up for an appoinment. more
