Maximum Audio Video

I came to Maximum Audio Video looking for the very best sound quality in my Hyundai Genesis. I have visited here before and was finally ready to get some serious work done. They not only sell some of the best products available, their customer service is excellent. I talked to Mike and he was prompt and informative about the products and services they offer. \r They gave me incredible deal on two JL W7's installed in a custom box, powered by a JL HD 750.\r I was impressed with how quickly they got the install done. The craftsmanship of the custom box they built me is top notch. They made sure that the sound in the cabin is excellent and nothing rattled.\r MAV told me that all of my components are under full warranty, so if something breaks I can just come back and they'll take care of me.\r I have been to several Car Audio shops, from mom and pop stores to corporate businesses like Best Buy. None of them come close to the service and quality of Maximum Audio Video. I will be returning in a few weeks to get a head unit installed and eventually a full Focal speaker setup. more

Whether you are looking for just a basic install or to spend $100,000 on a complete car overhaul, Maximum A/V is the place to go. The knowledge and skill of their installers is rivaled by no one in the state of Florida and the customer service provided is top shelf. I have been going to Maximum for many years now and in comparison to the other shops in the Tampa area, Andy and his team are in a league or their own. Terrible company. They do not know what they are selling. Sold me almost $4000 worth of auto audio, and it was not even capable of performing what I wanted to accomplish. What the product can do I could have paid $2000 for. They are liars and cheats, and very rude when you catch them in their lies. They also tried to tell me that the AM raido would not work in my Porsche, ""aftermarket AM rarely works""??!?!?? WTF!!?!! They finally got that working, but the audio files I wanted to play never worked. Complete waste of time and money. more

They have always been more than willing to take care of anything i have needed such as programing a remote or setting my alarm to do what i want. Today Mike greeted me by name even tho its been probably 2 years since I have been there, I lost my warranty card for my tint and Mike told me not to worry he would handle it. When I got back from MD's my car was done and there was no charge. I recommend to all my friends to go here for anything they need and suggest u to do the same. more

I've had Maximum Audio do four custom installations in cars ranging from Pontiac Vibe, Corvette, Toyota and Porsche. They are fantastik folks to deal with. They have tremendously skilled installers who will custom fabricate anything that dowsn't work right. They stand behind their installations, no questions asked. Anything not 100% to your liking they will do whatever it takes to make it right in your eyes, even if there was nothing wrong to begin with. Pricing has been incredibly reasonable for a shop that deals with athletes with unlimited funds, they also know how to take care of the little guy who only needs s $200 install. I highly recommend Maximum Audio Video for anyting you need done to your car's electrical items, stereos, radars, video, complete custom made dashboards, Etc. There is Nothing these guys can't pull off, they are the BEST. more

Poor Quality Work and Bad Work Ethic; Upsell Con Artists. They would not repair the tint the wrecked after I asked them not to put the widows down in my car, that were tinted by another company the day before. They wanted to put there brand of tint on the window that would not match what was there. Had to return several times to have work fixed they installed. They refused to pay the 40.00 cost of the repair of the window. Asked them to remove the item they installed and the owner was very rude about it. more

I purchased a new LCD television last week from Best Buy and scheduled installation thru Best Buy. My experience with Best Buy started with poor service but I put up with bad sales service because I thought I was getting such a great deal. Install day started three hours later than promised so I must admit, I was already upset. Then the installer said he could not run wires down the wall where I had my heart set on having the television. He ran wires down the adjacent wall and ran across outside. After the Best Buy kid left, I started thinking there must be a better solution. A friend recommended Maximum Audio Video on Dale Mabry. The experience was night and day! They offered me better television at the same price and they truly performed a professional installation. Now all of my wires are hidden and they ran them down the wall Best Buy said no way. Maximum surely has a great team. I couldnt be happier with the deal. Better picture, better installation and people that know what they are doing. Good job Maximum!! Thank you Andy and Gordon. more

Bought a new system for my car- removable tom tom gps,radio,mp3,CD,DVD,bluetooth for phone- and it worked great. Dealt with Ron and Troy who were both great- knowlegeable and helpful. About 3 weeks later my car was broken into and the new system stolen and rather then wait for the insurance I purchased a new one but it didn't work correctly. They tried everything but still no go so they replaced it with a new one and reinstalled for free. The new one works great. Nice place. good people, great expierence. more

I went to Maximum Audio Video and Buzz Off Alarms to get my windows tinted and an alarm system installed, Man I did not know they do all the stuff they do there. In one day that tinted my windows, installed a viper alarm and they even installed my ipod in my car. It was a great experience!! Mike was my sales man he did a great job !!! I will tell everyone I know to go there!! Pros: Got me in and out quickly and did an Awesome job !! more

Troy the sales guy is a fast talker that makes up what he doesn't know, then provides countless excuses for poor quality, jerry-rigged work. They charged me for an advanced install (more than cost of stereo!), and they disabled the keyless and overhead lamp in my car. They had the nerve to blame it on both of my keyless remotes and try to sell me a new set of remotes for another $100! I also asked them to pair my iPhone w/ the stereo bluetooth, and they said the bluetooth was broken because it wouldn't pair w/ the Sony head unit. They actually said that was the reason they don't sell Sony. Seriously, in the parking lot, I looked at the instructions, and paired my iPhone in 3 minutes. Troy also pressuring me the whole time about selling me another car alarm because cars like mine get stolen all the time and my previous alarm wasn't installed like they could install it...blah blah blah. Originally had an appt with another business (Audio Itch). 1st they failed to call me when the necessary parts hadn't arrived saying they didn't have my # which I most definetly had given them. Then I was continually told it was on back order. They never called when they said they would. Well, after dealing with this for 2 weeks, I called Maximum Audio/Buzz off Alarm on Dale Mabry. Troy was wonderful. At first their price for the job was higher but, he matched the price that Audio Itch had quoted me. He called the Parts Rep right in front of me and not only was the part in stock but, it was delivered the next day! When it arrived, Troy called me to advise me of such and that my appt was good to go. When I arrived for the appt they took me right away and the job took only a half hour. He had two men of the job for me. Very professional! The other places I dealt with seemed rushed and as if they didn't care whether they got my business or not. I highly recommend Maximum Audio and Video and ask for Troy. Pros: Professional, Thorough, Hardly any wait at all! Cons: NO CONS AT ALL more
