Stay away from Mathews Fun Machines or you will be sorry. I took my bike there to get my trans checked it was jumping out of first gear. They wanted $2000 + to fix it I could not afford that but there were 3 recalsthat had not been done so I left the bike there to have those done while I looked for an other shop to fix my trans figuared I would help them out it was off season and they got to make money too. Well they called me and said they would macth the price to swap my trans out because Kawasaki was paying to tear engine down due to 1 of the recalls i agreed. The trans i bought on ebay was the wrong one they called me in and showed me my gears the service manager and mechanic both told me the price for the parts that had wear was $1600 but my parts were not that bad and it would be fineto reuse those parts if they replaced my shift drum I agreed. the recall they did was replacing my valves in the heads. I picked up my bike trans was worse then before and the bike ran like crap had no power at all it had 50% more before they worked on it. I took it back they told my diafram in the carb was folded over IM not stupid if it were it wouldnt have even ran at all. they got the power back but it wont stay running and they refuse to fix my trans or the running issue. My bike was there for 2 months the service guy told me 2 weeks and he kept lying about when they would start working on it had to get owner involved to get them to start working on it. So they were paid $2700 by Kawasaki and $1100 from me and my bike is worse then before STAY AWAY FROM THEM more

Matthews Fun Machines really took care of me. I bought a used bike for my kid at Christmas and sure enough I went to start it on the 23rd and it would not run right. I took it in on the 23rd and they had it running right just in time for Christmas. more

I took my bike in because it wouldn't stay started. It has 500 miles on it and I bought it in January of 2011. They told me that the problem was the carburetor and it would be $220. In asking questions they said that they had drained some gas and didn't find any trash and they had not taken the carburetor all the way off to 100% find the problem. I called Kawasaki and that customer service rep said ""I don't blame them for trying to make a buck off you, since you didn't buy it from them."" I called Hager in Rock Hill where I got the bike from and they said they would fix it for free no questions asked. Hager knows how to take care of and keep customers.\r \r I called and said to put the bike back together gave them 30 minutes and went up there. When I get there they push the bike out more

You will be sorry if you go there. They broke my motorcycle while trying a simple fix and they refused to fix it. They even lied and said these parts break all the time. Read all of the reviews and you will see this is not a one time occurance. There are other shops like Corral, Iron Horse, Hendrick, etc that are much better choices. Stay away from Freedom too as it is the same owner hiding under a different name. more

Regular customer for 10+ years. Glad to have a multi-line dealership close to home with a Cycle Gear located directly beside Matthews Fun Machines is a plus. I know many areas who do not have a local shop to go to for there powersports needs. more

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The salesmen at this facility will tell you whatever you want to hear in order to make a sale!!! They will pretend like they care for you as a person who is going to spend thousands of dollars on a 'cycle, but they could care less! All they care about is making that sale, making that commission. They will PROMISE YOU THE WORLD!!! THOSE PROMISES ARE LIES!!! You will find that out after the sale , weeks later, after you keep calling and calling! Then you will get, "" Oh, I didn't know but this is not included........."" BUYER BEWARE!! Pros: Nice bikes Cons: SALESMEN WILL LIE TO MAKE A SALE!! more
