My husband and I purchased a bed from the store located on 101st, here in Tulsa, Ok. I totally concur with the bad reviews already listed and this is why…\r We purchased a bed in December 2013 and took delivery early January. One of the drawers to the bed was damaged in delivery. I contacted the store, the drawer could not be repaired, so a new one was ordered. And by that, I mean a whole new footboard was ordered since the option to just have a replacement drawer was nil. It's the end of March now, customer service has never once called us. In fact, there has been no contact or update on arrival unless I call them. Customer service states that once a product is ordered the customer doesn't get courtesy calls, the product arrives, when it arrives, and until then, well…nothing (nada baby!) Still, after speaking with them again today, looks like the delivery date might be April 20th. Wow, a quarter of the year has passed and my husband and I have lived with a gaping whole in our bed, where a sad little drawer belongs. I guess I can honestly say that once Matthis Bro. makes a sale, you are no longer so important! There are certainly other stores to purchase from that has the same quality and price that Matthis Bro sales. And where the customer matters after a sale is made and the money is in their pocket. more

NO to Mathis Brothers 8/10/2013

DO NOT buy a mattress from this organization, ESPECIALLY A LADY AMERICANA. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM,, DO NOT PAY THE MONEY FOR THEIR MATTRESS PAD, LADY AMERICANA IS THEIR BRAND AND IT IS A RIP OFF. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. We just receiving our THIRD Warranty replacement. Our Bedroom was torn apart and ready for the NEXT new mattress. There was a small stain on the foot of the bed and they put the new mattress back on the truck. This was a $2500.00 dollar mattress and it lasted a year. The first one lasted 1.5 years. We were told to call their cleaning service which we did, They are not open until Monday (this is Saturday). We paid an ungodly amount for their mattress pad which was sold to us as being impermeable and the only way we could maintain the warranty. It was faulty and the mattress stained anyway. I asked for them to leave the new mattress and we would get the old one cleaned Monday. This they would not do. We want our bedroom back TODAY. The stain happened because THIER mattress pad more

There is a rip on the bottom of one of the chairs you were suppose to get back with me and you have not. I asked you to remove my ex wife phone number at payment. The delivery crew called and told her the furniture would be delivered between 9-11 she told them the number was wrong but the address was correct. I'm not sure what problems this will cause for the future. more

There were so many sales associates everywhere that it was a little too much, almost felt like a car lot. I guess that is better than not being able to find anyone, but my wife and I just wanted to look without someone standing over us constantly. The sales associate that helped us was very friendly however, so that made it better. We were disappointed in the fact that we could not pay our bill online without a service charge. Mathis Brothers should be able to offer online bill pay without charging additional monies with the amount of volume that they do. more

The overall experience was outstanding until it got to the delivery. We purchased a new bed and we checked three times with our sales person if the delivery people would move our existing bed to another room. She said yes all three times. The delivery guys said they don't do that and mentioned the sales people always say that. Well, I told them I wouldn't accept the delivery and walked into the house. They changed their minds and moved the bed. When the guys were done and left my husband and I went around our new bed and picked up trash left from the instillation. Not a good experience. At least one of the guys spoke English, I don't speak Spanish. more

I have made several purchases from Mathis Brothers and have always been satisfied. From start to finish everything has always been smooth even when we have loaded out everyone is so nice and helpful. I actually have two couches I purchased about 7 years ago and they still look wonderful even with boys bouncing, laying and eating and drinking on them and the mattress we bought is the most comfortable mattress I have ever had. Thank you for making my shopping experience easier and not a chore. I am one Lady who hates to shop, not so at your store. I need a new couch for my main living room and I will be there looking and I know I will find exactly what I am looking for. more

A very pleasant purchase today! The salesman was helpful and pleasant. The clerk whom I paid for my husbands lift chair was friendly and nice. The pick up people were careful and loaded us in a timely manner. I'm admiring my husbands chair and thinking I would shop there for any need for our house very pleased with our visit and chair. more

THE INSTRUCTIONS ON YOUR SALES SLIPS FOR DELIVERIES IS INCORRECT. IT WAS NOT POSSIBLE TO GET A DELIVERY TIME ESTIMATE AFTER 5 PM THE DAY BEFORE DELIVERY. I REALLY APPRECIATE THE OPTION TO HAVE SUNDAY DELIVERY. MARTY WAS GREAT WITH MATTRESSES. FOR QUESTIONS HE COULD NOT ANSWER HE ASKED ANOTHER ASSOCIATE. HE RESPECTED MY PRICE RANGE AND MY SPACE.
