chilean sea bass is endangered 12/3/2005

that restaurant is silly, come to fish and play but donteat chilean sea bass. its endangered. ive been going there since i was two years old, when my mother and i moved to this country. the amount of wildlife has decreased a lot. we used to go netting and find sea horses, star fish, and all sorts of organisms that are NEVER spotted there anymore. so enjoy matheson hammock as i always have but please remember that its on the decline, its not as strong or healthy and needs your care. chilean sea bass is endangered. Cons: less biodiversity more

I agree the park is great for sightseeing; if your into nature and can tolerate the heat. Don't make the mistake of seeking refuge from the scroching summer sun in the shade of the mangroves and surrounding brush and trees unless you've covered your body in about half a gallon of mosquito repellent. The lagoon and swimming area like most of Miami is overcrowded and congested. And naturally with this many people a bit untidy. Nevertheless, the park has some great scenery and nice picnic areas. I would recommend, if your on vacation, to go during the weekdays to avoid the crowds and make the most of your visit. Pros: Beautiful scenery, nice picnic areas, unique wildlife Cons: , overcrowded, not enough BBQ more

It is a good place to walk and take pictures. But if you want to enjoy the beach, this is not the place. The water is *really* dirty with some mug, and the sand is dirty also, lots of cigarrettes, plastics and stuff everywhere. Anyways, it's good for the children, who really don't care. It's a beautiful place to see, but if you love to swim, go somewhere else. Pros: Beautiful sights, Red Fish restaurant Cons: pking price too high, dirty water, really dirty sands more
