Hey, I'm Joe and I've been going to Massage Company West Hollywood quite often. Why? Well, because the price is affordable, for example, it costs $60 per hour and in my opinion the price is cheap. But not just the price, my massage therapist, Nazeli, has marvelous hands. I sleep sometimes while i get a massage from her because it's so relieving. Nazeli takes out the pain easily and so good that it feels like you were never in pain before. Nazeli, you Rock! Anyways, it has been 3 years since they had new owners, and the environment is clean and Everyone welcomes you so happily that you feel like you're at home. I would highly recommend everyone to visit the Massage Company which is located in West Hollywood, CA. YOU WONT REGRET! Thank You:) more

I've been going to this massage company for 8 years now because of Nazeli and i love it. i love that i can get in and out easily w/o any hasseles. spas are wonderful if you have the time but i need regular massages and the massage co makes it affordable. Nazeli has kept my body happy w/me w/her amazing skills. Nazeli is excellent at reading my body and lovely to work with to boot. As someone who has had back surgery in 2007 which unfortunately still gives me spasms Nazeli has 20 plus years experience which was learned in Armenia where the depth of study is akin to a DR. When ever I show up with back spasms Nazeli massages them away and somehow I often fall asleep on the table even though she goes quite deep. Nazeli is a natural healer and I rate her service as a ten out of ten. The Massage company in West Hollywood is very fortunate indeed to have her services. I have been a loyal Massage company customer for years. I treat myself to massage after a stressful day at work. I’m a nurse and I spend most of my day on my feet running around or in front of the computer charting and not to mention turning and lifting heavy patients. You can imagine the number this does on my body. But thanks to healing hands of Artur I can continue doing my job day after day. The prices are affordable which means I can be “healed” as often as I need to be :) I’m a spa loving girl and every time I travel I make a point to go to all the “it” spa’s. However, most of the time as am getting massaged at those spa’s I keep thinking “what a waste of money’. If you are just looking for a really good massage this is the place to come to. As a massage therapist for over 20 years I feel I'm pretty discerning about the quality of massage I receive. I have been coming here for over 5 years because of the exceptional therapists who work here and I would have to say I am more pleased than ever since the new owners have taken over. The place is much cleaner, more efficiently run and they retained the best of the old team. Yes, the rates have gone up. It is now $60 or $59 if you pay cash. This business is no longer part of a chain of 7 other stores and to be clear those stores were known collectively as The Massage Company. The old owner was forced out of business because of massive fines levied against her by the State labor board.The business is now independently owned and its official name is Massage Company West Hollywood. By mandate of the state labor board the new owners were required to hire the therapists as employees instead contracting them - which increases the costs of running a business quite a bit - thus the rate hike. There is no way that the abnormally low rate of the previous business (which I might add has been the rate for the last 11 years), could continue. Massage is hard work! Alas, that the rate is no longer what you would be charged for work by a student at a massage school, clinic. Still, at current standards 60 bucks for Deep Tissue or Swedish massage is still a very moderate rate. Now factor in that the extremely gifted therapists here have a range from 5 to 22 years of experience in the business and it becomes a damn good deal . Pros: Talented therapists with 5 years or more of expirience! Cons: Clean, comfortable but basic - not for luxury spa snobs. more

I've purchased many gift certificates from this place in the last year and recently they changed management and raised the price of a basic massage by 50% (though the new owners kept the phone number and added "West Hollywood" to the name). When I purchased the gift certificates for my partner's birthday, I noticed one of the new staff being snippy and short with people in the waiting area. I chalked it up to him having a bad day and purchased them anyway. Today, I ended up having to go back and cash the unused certificates in because that same person treated my partner of 12 years with such rudeness that he never wants to go back. I get my partner massage gift certificates for every holiday (including Valentine's Day) and he looks forward to every session. Now I feel like I've given him a really negative experience for his birthday and I am very embarrassed. I used to recommend this place, but now I strongly recommend against it. Mary has always given me an AMAZING massage (made even better by costing $39 bucks). The rooms are no frill and the bathroom could use some help, but if you want a great cheap massage then this is the place. more

Ok, so I went becasue it was convenient and inexpensive. Here are my 10 big complaints. 1) Do not get room 1 unless you want to hear the receptionist and whomever chit chatting though your entire massage 2) NO Tranquil Music,,instead I was rubbed down with fast piano and Russian techno-not kidding 3) Too fast...massage strokes should be slow and relaxing not fast..I had to ask her to SLOW Down 4) Painful. I like it light. I asked for it light. I didn't get light... I feel like I received 'Indian Burns'- remember them? 5) I asked for attention directed on my lower back...we spend the first 1/2hr doing my upper back, specifically my neck which I didn't feel any tension in beforehand and now I do 6)The hr massage is supposed to be a full body, we never got to the front, or my head, and she specifially asked if I wanted both_-Yes 7)No manager on premises to speak with? 8)I Am mad at myself for having paid and yes I still gave her a good tip 9)Bad customer service. When asked if I enjoyed my massage by the receptionist and I said no, the receptionist looked unsympathedic, vapid and un- helpful 10) Am wating to here back from store owner to let me know what they plan on doingabout this..I want my $ back To leave on a positive note, I can not speak of the ability of all of the theripist there and although I didn't enjoy my experience, my theripist was nice?
