After booking an appointment with Dr. Marvel's office via their booking service and securing the appointment with my credit card (to be charged $50.00 if I did not show up for the appointment), I waited the two weeks for the appointment that was set at 9:00 AM. I got to the office at 8:45 AM, checked in, was acknowledged, handed paperwork to fill out, handed the paperwork back in, was told to have a seat, and waited an hour until I got up (after watching numerous patients called back to see the doctor), and asked about the delay. I was told it would only be another few minutes. I sat back down and waited another half hour. After waiting an hour and a half, I went to the front desk and advised them that I could not wait any longer, but that I had to go back to work. I was asked my name and then told that my appointment was not until 12:00 PM! I then pulled out my phone and showed them the confirmation email I received that said 9:00 AM. Then, they asked me if I want to reschedule? I told them that I didn't have the time to make another appointment and take another half day off of work. To top it all off, not one of the staff apologized for their mistake. It's a shame too. I have been saving money for the past 2 years to have a tummy tuck, cosmetic breast reconstruction, and some minor eye work. That was a cash job they lost. I will be taking my business to Nashville and will be happy to pay a little extra money for better and more competent service.
