Marsh Optical has been my sole source for eyeglasses & contact lenses for 20 years. I have referred friends to Marsh and know others who, like me, are very satisfied customers of Marsh Optical. I appreciate the friendly attention provided by Mr. & Mrs. Marsh and every employee I have dealth with during the past two decades. Not only do they know me by name and remember the strength of my lenses, they sincerely understand my life and ailments I suffer from that are not eye related. Good: Been going to Marsh Optical since 1989. Walked in cold off street & have been extremely happy since. Their expertise & product knowledge, selection, special order abilities & ALWAYS prompt delivery of an order, be it for lenses, glasses, or replacement parts, (usually free of charge) is UNMATCHED! Their professionalism, attentiveness, and courtesy are always the very BEST. Their helpful way and boutique store is a great model for other opticians. I always leave w/frames that look like I walked in with them. Bad: Parking is very convenient, but is metered.. Improvements: More floor space. However, store and display space and layout are efficient.. Other: The proprietors are very hands on. You always deal with both of these very skilled and talented Artisan/Owners. My experience of them, their store, their products, & their services are that, "If you are not satisfied with them or your experience or your purchase, it's only because they haven't finished serving you. If you are a tough customer, one who is extremely difficult or near impossible to satisfy, my advice is to hang in there & give The Marsh Optical Boutique a fair shot. They WILL satisfy you yet.. more

I needed my contact lenses by a particular day because I was leaving the area for one month. I was promised that it would not be a problem. I was called by them to let them know how many boxes to order and asked how many my insurance would cover. I was told that they would get back to me. They did not call back and ordered an amount over what my insurance would cover without my consent and a week later than I needed them. Go elsewhere. more

My whole family has gone here for glasses for a number of years. I have worn glasses for most of my life and have gotten them at many different types of places. I must say that because the bridge of my nose is narrow (while the rest of me is very wide), I never had a pair of glasses that would stay up. I went to Marsh's, and for the first time in my life, I have glasses that I am not constantly pushing up. Unfortunately for them, I may never get a new pair because I am so happy with these. My younger son loses glasses. We have bought at least 3 or 4 pairs this year. They have been nice about reducing the price on some of them. I also took him for contacts, much against my better judgment because of his lack of caring for this glasses. Without my saying anything about that, they refused to sell him contacts until he learned to take care of his. I was impressed that they would pass up the money for the lenses. Well, maybe by the time he is 30, he will be ready!! We will continue going there. more
