Mark's Homemade Ice Cream

I have been going to Mark's for years and it is the best. They always have a great selection of homemade ice cream. The only problem is that they are too popular! LOL !! Sometimes you have to wait a bit because everyone is there for their high quality products. That is a wonderful problem for any business to have. I have never encountered a problem with any of the staff there. They are always courteous and kind even when the customers have difficult orders to fill. I recommend that you run, not walk, to Marks for a great ice cream experience. more

I've been going to mark's for years and I've never had a bad experience. They have a very nice selection of home made ice cream and the staff has ALWAYS been very nice to ME. I order all summer birthday cakes from Mark's and they taste fresh to ME. You can choose any combination of the available flavors for you cakes. Now to the previous reviewer, the ice cream can't be too bad if you stuck around long enough to realize that the staff never changes. This place seems quaint and clean on the outside but until you go 2 or 3 times, you will see for yourself how frustrating, disrespectful the crew is. No one that works there posesses the mental capacity to understand the concept of forming a line. Therefore, the low class customers that also crowd the place cut the line and the staff doesn't care. Don't think they change staff any time soon because I have seen the same familiar faces for several years. The ice cream tastes like it came off of a truck in Camden and its expensive! The toppings are stale. The cakes are also pricey and taste and feel as though they have been stored in a freezer for a month. Carvel and Cold Stone are much better places. You will actually find fresh cakes and goodies there. I had the last straw today when the place was practically empty and some still managed to place their order. I am never patronizing Mark's again and I plan to spread the word as much as possible. Pros: none! Cons: everything more
