Markley Cove Resort

Lake Berryessa is up and Running - Markley Cove Resort Is Awesome! we simply were looking for directions to the best place to launch our boat and we found Markley Cove Resort. When we walked in I immediately noticed how CLEAN the store was. It even smelled clean. Every employee there was so nice and had so much information. We were informed the price to launch a boat was $20.00 which included Launch and parking for the rest of the day. Then they asked us if we were going to launch more than 15 times for the summer. We were like heck ya! They informed us that they offer a season pass for $300.00. We did the math and it is a better deal since after 15 launches we would have unlimited launching until Dec 31, 2011. We are stoked! Next year we are going to take advantage of the season pass again starting Jan.01,2012 and utilize the pass as much as possible through out the whole year. We even decided to start saving now, and getting our friend a pass as a Christmas gift. Cool beans... The main reason why I like Markley Cove Resort is basically the staff and the cleanliness. They gave us so much info on other options around the lake too. I like that a business would take the time to tell us about the surrounding activities. As a matter of fact we got to get some great information about the jet ski's at Lake berryessa boat and jet ski; a boat rental facility inside Markley Cove. dont know what the last guy was talking abut my family and i had a great time and enjoyed the facilities, it was a good experiance and the people were friendy and helpfull would recomend to anyone i know as a matter of fact we booked another cabin on the way out for the next three day weekend Pros: everything you need to have a fantastic weekend Cons: not enough time to enjoy it more

Basically a string of four of big dusty parking lots with steep rocky access and overpriced trailers they call ""cabins"" Not a resort unless you call a store, six trailers and a gas dock a resort. Boat launch is $30, steep unsupervised and always crowded on weekends. Management is rude and someone in the office told me they expected the high price would keep out ""partyers and bottom feeders. "" $ 200 a night keeps out everyone who has any sense. Pros: at the lake Cons: overpriced dusty ugly more
