Read all of the negative reviews on Yelp. Its so obvious that the positive ones that were grouped together 2 years ago are bogus. Stay away from this place!! more

First, read the documents they give you as a new patient. One of their forms have you consent to them changing procedures on you and you're responsible for paying. That's fine if it's a matter of my life or death--but not here. There are other parts to the same form that I refused to initial and sign so just read them carefully. When I met the dentist (after the xrays) she examined my teeth and told me the following: - I have 5 cavities several of which are under my fillings - 4 of my fillings need to be replaced - I need 2 root canals - I need several crowns - I have 2mm of bone loss - I need to have a ""deep cleaning"" because a regular cleaning won't help me - Finally, she recommends I see the dentist every 4 months. I had a bad feeling after my visit then read some reviews on this website and saw several other complaints. I decided to see another dentist; however, I needed my Xrays. I called MarketPlace Dentistry to request my Xrays and they said it was a $35.00 charge. Luckily, the receptionist at my new dentist told me that amount was outrageous for something that was in digital format since it could easily be transferred. She offered to see if her dentist would be willing to take Xrays and not charge me or my insurance company, which they did. After looking at my Xrays, my new dentist told me the following: - I have 2 cavities both of which are under fillings THAT'S IT!!! His staff could not believe all the things I was told. My hygienist even apologized on behalf of their profession for what I went through. If I didn't go out and seek a second opinion this company would have made me and my insurance pay a lot more than was necessary. more

My friend referred me to Market Place Dentistry last year, because I was very insecure about my smile. Initially I didn't know what to expect, and was very nervous about my visit, but the staff comforted me from point A to point B. I've been an invisalign patient for about a year now, and cant believe how fast my gap disappeared- now I actually smile in photos :) more

Exceptionally Friendly and Modern Office! Really close to work. I am getting married this summer. My fiance and I want to get a really good cleaning and get our teeth bleached. From the staff to the dentist , I felt taken care of. The dentist was really wonderful. They took digital x-rays and even had a camera to take pictures of cavities. Everything was computerized. Really Hi-Tech! Also, they took my insurance. I sent my fiance to them after my visit and now he has his sister going there too. He hadn't been to the dentist in ten years. He didn't feel pressured into getting something he didn't want to. They really broke up his fillings into visits and gave us an estimate. He works really long hours. They're open Sat. so he'll get them done then. She spoke to us about healthy eating. They showed him a video on how to brush his teeth. Really took the time to get him into a better routine. They're really straight forward. I found them very detailed and super nice. more

We have been going to the same dentist for the past eight years. He just became out of network for our plan. It was so nerve-racking looking for another dentist for our family. I was calling everyone in the area and they just didn't take our plan. Finally I found Market Place Dentistry! It was a real relief that they took our plan. I was now afraid that they would be soooo horrible and bad. \r \r It was soo amazing to walk into the office. It was really beautiful and clean. Really modern and hi-tech. They had digital x-rays and even a mini mouth cam. Really cool. The office really caters to you. Before I even walked in they knew my insurance coverage. She was really detailed in her exam. She checked my TMJ, mouth for cancer, and explained things about nutrition that noone had ever taken the time to. I had been going to the same dentist for years and he never once asked me what kind of toothbrush I used. She was right on it and asked me. I was really surprised at the video displays they used to explain things. My kids loved watching the Disney channel while getting a cleaning. They told me that they don't want to change dentists anymore. I sent over some friends they all loved the office. I just wanted to tell everyone my story after all the anxiety I went through about changing offices. They are really trustworthy and straightforward. She's really good! more

All my life I've never had any problem with my teeth. On my first visit to MPD I was told I had 4 cavities that needed to be filled. I couldn't believe it but it had been a couple of years since my last exam and I'd had a child since then. I heard that horomones can affect your teeth so I didn't question it. I had them filled, no biggie. Upon my next visit, I was told I had 4 cavities and that one was in a wisdom tooth that needed to be pulled. I let her pull it and the opposing tooth. Boy was THAT a mistake. I should have gone to an oral surgeon but I didn't know any better. The way they billed me was really funky, so much so that my Health Care Spending account rejected my request for reimbursement. After a lot of pain after the extraction I returned and saw another dentist who was dumbfounded that I wasn't give the proper tools to clean the socket, etc. Anyway, ever since my first visit, I couldn't help but feel like they were trying to find something wrong with me just so they could jack up the fees they would collect from me. I even heard another patient comment that she'd never had problems before she came to that dental office. Well, I decided not to complain and just change dentists. My new dentist was very surprised that I'd had a cavity in my wisdom tooth. She said my teeth were really good and even with the ""deep grooves"" in my teeth I had no signs of decay at all. That clinched it. If you feel like maybe you're getting scammed. You probably are. Don't go to this office and if you do, don't see Dr. Hague. I now go to Orange Hill Dental and love them! more

really am scared about people poking around my mouth. I was so relieved that I found her. I have been around the dental merry-go--round. When I first went into the office my cap fell off. I was really nervous at first because I thought it would cost alot to fix the problem. The office took its time to explain problem. I had to wait a little, but the dentist took her time to really give me my choices. more

She was very honest and very knowledgeable! The dentist was gentle and explained everything as she did my check up. I loved the experience and definitely recommend it to everyone! Great Dentist!! This place is great. The staff is absoultely helpful. Really Hi-Tech office. No waiting! they got me in right away. I got to watch tv as they took x-rays which was fantastic. Two thumbs up! more

I have been to dentists all my life, except for the past four years. The staff was really awesome. They were on top of my insurance and really did their best to make sure I understood what was going on. The office is beautiful. I can't believe the other guy......is recommending another doctor. I don't need to go to another dentist. She's nice and knows how to make me comfortable. The cleaning wasn't rushed and it really felt good afterwards. I would recommend her to all of my family and friends. This is a caring dental office and really professional. I had to write this because I read the reviews before choosing her. I found nothing but a positive experience. The office is pretty close to everything too. They are really straight forward and pretty good. Pros: Location! Its beautiful and clean! I've been here and it isn't all the too bad. However, Dr. David Guyot is nothing short of great. You can get a number of procedures done from him, one of them being a Crown Tustin. This Dentist Tustin knows how it feels to be a recipient of bad service, so he does everything possible to ensure that you have the best experience. more

I am pretty regular with my cleanings. Recentely, I moved here from the Bay Area, I've tried out two offices before finding this one. She's very professional and knows her stuff. I've been around town. She took the time to explain things. The office is really on the cutting edge with different tech gadgets and everything is computerized. The cleaning was done with a vibrating instrument and it was a little different but left me feeling really refreshed. She seemed to be concerned about my health and it felt like she took the time out to really find things out. If you're looking for a good dental office, I'd suggest you try this one out. I had the most amazing experience at Market Place Dentistry. The staff was really sweet and helpful. They mailed me the forms so I filled them out before my visit. The xrays were taken as I sat watching tv. The staff was really good about explaining everything. It was really hi tech. Everything was really clean. I have had a really rough time with other dentists and I had not gone in four years. I was really scared and thought that I would have a mouth full of cavities. I originally made an appt for 9am- they called to say the dentist had a emergency procedure and rescheduled me to 12, then called me back 2 days later to ask if I wanted to take a 10 or 11 appt. We confirmed that the appt was for 10am and I get there at 10:05. The paperwork is confusing (and I have a background in healthcare) although most people would have just signed. There's a mandatory arbitration form which the receptionist INSISTS I have to sign if I want to be seen. Now I have no plans to bring on a suit, but anyone who knows about arbitration knows how horrible it is for the consumer. Pros: Dentist has good credentials, very nice office Cons: 2 hours waiting time, confusing forms, mandatory arbitration more

You really have to go there to experience Market Place Dentistry! It was stunning and clean. The dentist was great. She was gentle and thorough. Everything is new! I sat watching Sat. morning cartoons as they took x-rays and gave me a cleaning. And guess what?? If you live in the OC......you'll appreciate this! They took my insurance and were really nice.
