There's a great atmosphere in this place. It's been around for a long time and you still see it when you walk in. It is looking a bit run-down now in it's old age but we forgive this when we are greeted with a friendliness that dates back to a time when people were..well...friendlier. If you linger long enough on a Sunday morning you will see a very many elderly people wandering this place to do their shopping, bantering amongst each other and with the owner himself. I feel like this place is all these men and women had back in the day, before the super-walmarts and H.E.B stores that sprung up around the area. It's nice to see that they still have it.
