Best

Sushi land rocks if you want good sushi for a great price. Of course there are better tasting sushi else where but it would cost you double. Sushi is the best for cheap but good ...

Good Sushi+Great Value! 8/6/2004

The parking is small. The number of seating available is small. The waiting list gets huge... But the check remains small! The overall sushi may not be award winning quality - but there is good sushi here - and its value makes the sushi selection very nice! The better sushi selection you will have to request, as the ""soso"" to ""ok"" sushi usually fill the conveyor belt. The overall service is average and the first thing you may hear is ""irrasshai!"" (welcome!) from the chefs. The environment has as much class as a fast food restaurant, so this is more of a ""buddy location"" than a date location. The good sushi keeps my stomach happy. The great value keeps my wallet happy. Pros: Cheap Sushi, Conveyor Belt Service, Sushi Selection Cons: , Crowded Evenings more

I LOVE SUSHI LAND 7/6/2004

i dont mind the wait when its busy. i dont mind the parking. its all worth it. the food is great. i know what i want when i go in and its part of the package when i go in of the wait. where else would i go for the sushi? no where! everyone know its the best thats why there always so busy. unlike the blue c sushi. the food portion is average and i would drive from lynnwood just to eat there once a week. more

Good Value, Bad Service 12/21/2003

Service is extremely slow. When seats open up they take forever to prepare them for the next customer, so the wait time is long during busy periods. Also the chef(s) often forget your order, or they take a long time to prepare it. The sushi is good and it's nice to sample many different plates at a reasonable price. The sushi can be hit-or-miss though (sometimes it is warm and/or dry). The conveyor belt set-up is definitely cool, and makes it easy to sample sushi. Overall I'd have to recommend it, even though the table turnover speed and service is terrible Pros: Good Selection, Reasonable Prices, Conveyor Belt Cons: Slow Table Turnover, Limited Parking, Bad Service more

Fast and easy! 8/14/2003

Certainly not the greatest sushi out there but it sure hits the spot. I think you get the fulfillment of ""all you can eat"" without paying the high ""all you can eat"" sushi bar prices. I'm a big eater, and I can get full on $10 or $12 of their food. If your timing is right, you can simply walk in, sit down and start eating, sometimes even before the host(ess) has a chance to ask you if you'd like anything to drink. I'm a sucker for their salmon, unagi, and the tuna. During lunchtime, the turnover is fast, in both the food and the customers. If you have to wait for a seat, you're seated usually within 10 minutes. If you're in a group larger than 4, it may take a while for seats. Pros: Inexpensive, Fast Cons: Limited parking, Limited seating more

Unique Sushi 8/4/2003

This place is great once you can get a seat. The sushi goes by on a conveyor belt so you can grab what you like, which lets you sample a bunch of diffent plates. The prices are pretty cheap, but the place is always busy around lunch and dinner time. Unfortunately that can make going there a nightmare since there is limited parking and they are extremely bad at service and turning over tables. Still one of the best (and most hidden) places for sushi on the Eastside. Pros: Selection, Price, Conveyer Belt Cons: Wait Time, Parking, Service more

Melting fish 5/30/2003

With a name like Sushi Land, I was a bit hesitant when first entering this restaurant, however, the food there was a delightful surprise. Although this isn't really a place for large groups, I would definitely say that the quality of the sushi is good. The hamachi and saba just melt away in your mouth and the spider roll was actually warm when it came around to me. The selection is fairly large and the sushi chefs keep the belt well supplied. For a nice cheaper sushi lunch, I would definitely keep this place in mind! more

The only reason to go to the east side! 1/20/2003

Sure maybe it is not THE BEST sushi, but it is very good and hey, where else can you have this much fun in Bellevue?! more

sushi robot rocks 12/17/2002

The sushi is cheap and mostly decent quality. It's a great place for lunch. more

Catch fast sushi! 10/23/2002

A great place for inexpensive but really great sushi. If you don't see your favorite rolls whipping by on the belt, call it out to a chef and it will be in your chopsticks within a few minutes. High turnover in this busy place means the sushi is fresh.. and half the fun is watching it made before you. I disagree with other customers -- With a bit of help in dining, this is a great place for kids. Pros: Inexpensive, Fresh, Crowded Cons: Crowded, Noisy more

Excellent and cheap! 9/28/2002

This isn't Shiro's or I Love Sushi. It is, however, inexpensive, good, and quick. As others have written, it is a ""kaiten"" style sushi restaurant, where you just take whatever looks good off a conveyer belt. They have a fairly wide variety of sushi - tuna, salmon, eel, california rolls, spicy tuna, etc. Nearly all plates go for between $1-$2. You can stuff yourself for about $10. As far as the sushi being warm - the plates all have barcodes on the bottom, and any sushi that has been sitting on the belt for 30 minutes is tossed (KC health code.) It's clean, with all prep being done in front of the customers. It's also part of a large chain in Japan, so they know what they are doing. If you want inexpensive, good sushi, you can't beat Sushi Land. Pros: inexpensive, fresh Cons: can be crowded more

Good eats, makes wallet happy 9/24/2002

Sushi Land is the place when me and my girlfriend want the best bang for our buck. Decent sushi at an awesome price. And we don't have to fight over what to order, because you can just pick it off the conveyor belt yourself! Good eats, that also makes your wallet happy! more

Cheap, fun, and tasty 9/8/2002

I adore Sushi Land! Where else can you go for sushi, eat until you explode, and still spend only $10? The trick to Sushi Land is to be patient. They make different types of sushi in batches. So if you go and don't see what you like, either ask or wait patiently -- they'll be making it soon. If you want to try new kinds of sushi, then this is a great place. Since the sushi is so inexpensive, you can afford to take risks. Pros: Inexpensive, Variety, Speed Cons: Few parking spaces, Can be crowded, Not much service more

If you like warm sushi... 9/4/2002

...then go to Sushiland. The prices are really cheap, and the nifty conveyer belt where you choose them from is really cool, but the sushi isn't fresh at all. They can make sushi at 11 a.m. that will sit on that conveyer belt for 2+ hours before it's picked up by YOU! I have had many ""room temperature"" sushi plates there, and that's just plain unhealthy and gross! You get what you pay for. Pros: cheap prices, lots to choose from, parking lot Cons: warm food, subpar service, long wait at lunch more

best, cheapest, fastest sushi 8/15/2002

great sushi, at the best price in seattle, served quickly. plus a kitchy conveyer belt serves the buffet to your table. closer than disneyland and tastier too! Pros: great, fresh sushi, cheapest in seattle, fun, kitchy service more

Cheap and easy 8/6/2002

Good inexpensive sushi on a conveyor belt. Need I say more? Pros: Fast, Good quality, Inexpensive Cons: Selection can be thin, Loud more
