Worst

Unprofessional staff.

Expensive! compared to other popular schools around 12/9/2012

This school used to be excellent when Marina was the owner. The new owner is not friendly, unapproachable, severe looking and looks angry all the time. I don't know what her phD is in if it's piano performance or what but a piece of paper does not make a teacher. A person is either born a teacher or not. She is abrupt when she talks, her customer service is questionable because when we were there and we needed something she talks to you as if you just did something wrong. When I talked to the secretary about my child's schedule and she comes and she's there she butts in and wants to take control of the situation. It made me feel like she want to control everything it made me uncomfortable when she's around. It's not a pleasant feeling. She has this negative vibe. What I don't like most is when she talks to her staff sometimes it sounds like she has no respect for them. I would never want to work for a person like that, I don't like being controlled. When Marina's around she makes you feel at home. Marina is the epitome of a very good teacher, always smiling at you, making you feel good that you're there and very professional. Marina's is secure with herself w/c is probably why I don't feel like she's always watching me. The staff also loves her just the way she is. I wish Marina would teach in another school I'm sure a lot of the students would love to go to her. There used to be a lot of very nice people working there, most of them left so did a lot of the students because when Marina left it felt like she took the sunshine with her and all the school care about now is money. Now there's only a few nice people there and the school is very lucky if they can hold on to the few good and wonderful teachers left. more

BEST MUSIC SCHOOL IN THE VALLEY!! 10/24/2011

Just moved here from northern Calif. with our three children (6, 9 and 12) four months ago wanted a good school that all three would enjoy. We couldn't be happier!!! They have just expanded the school with beautiful new classrooms and each the kids are taking either group piano, guitar or art. The owner, Iren, has a Phd. in music and made us feel right at home. I read the review from ""classical"" and he/she is way off!!! I had a tour of the recital hall and it is a beautiful separate building that seats about 100 guests with a stage, lighting and grand piano. I can't wait to see my children perform there!!! more

FINALLY, A REAL MUSIC SCHOOL 3/31/2011

My children had taken piano lessons for over two years with private teachers and other schools, but after all that time and money I was shocked that they still could not read music! This school uses a simple, effective method my girls could understand and were reading piano music after just one visit. Thank you-Thank you more

WORST MUSIC SCHOOL 12/13/2010

Piano Lesson Experience 12/6/2010

I've only had experience with different piano teachers there and they weren't able to teach me clearly because their english was so bad. Worse than their english, they would teach me with a weird system that I've never heard of before, and will never see outside of the school. The boss encouraged my mom to keep me in lessons and we both could tell she wanted us to stay for the money. I will never reccomend this music school to anyone. more

Great teachers 7/13/2008
