Homemade tasting pies 11/21/2006

I just put in my order for a few pies at this Marie Callender's location. It was quick and painless to do. I wanted to make sure they had my order put in early because I want to have their pies for my Thanksgiving dessert! I ended up ordering a pumpkin and cherry pie. My mouth is already watering just thinking about them. I really like Marie Callender's pies over other establishments that make and sell pies fresh. They really do taste homemade and you just might "fool" someone if you take one to their house for Thanksgiving (or other event). They will think you slaved in the kitchen for hours making it! The best Pie 4/14/2006

Although I rarely eat inside the restaurant, I frequently pick up pies for take out. They are honestly some of the best pies I have ever tasted. One family favorite is the Chocolate Satin although we also enjoy the fruit pies. They run a special during certain months (usually February, June and October) where all the pies are $5.99. I make a point of picking up at least one pie during the sale. The crust is flaky and delicious and the filling always yummy. I have never had a bad pie. The service is always very quick and friendly. I highly recommend them for dessert. more
