Located on College Avenue in Rockridge, Marica is a very safe choice for a nice, upscale seafood dinner. Their selections are very fresh and thoughtfully (if not creatively) prepared, and the ambiance is modern and elegant. My only complaint is that the restaurant is very small, and the tables very close together. Thus, if it's privacy you're looking for, you won't find it here. And if your dining companion likes to talk with his arms (as mine did -- with rather hideous results), you'd be better off eating your seafood elsewhere.
