I really like this bakery. There are many top notch bakeries in Boston and this place has some of the best pastries in the area. I really like this place as it is a nice cozy bakery with delicous hoot foods. I recommend them highly. more

Excellent Bakery 3/10/2006

Amongst all the hustle and bustle of the construction of the Big Dig, it's easy to overlook Maria's Pastry shop which is located on the edge of the North End acrossed from Hay Market. Here they make awesome treats like marzipan, torrone and biscotti. It's extremely busy during the holiday season, but the staff is always nice no matter how rushed they are. The treats are decadent and delicious. One of the most underrated bakeries in all of Boston. more
