I've been a follower of Maria's before they moved to their "new" location (been there for a while now). I love everything, especially the family-type restaurant style. Always friendly faces and yummy food. more

Maria's Greek Restaurant - Coral Way 4/3/2006

My former office held their Holiday Party at Maria's & I was very happy to find such a good restaurant so close to my house. It's on a nondescript section of Coral Way, so you do have to look for the blue awning or you'll miss it. The only thing that kept me from giving Maria's a "Great" rating is that a number of my colleagues' orders of beef kabobs were not prepared as specified & one gal couldn't even eat her over cooked entrée that was supposed to just be "medium well." However, the appetizers were delicious & the gyro platter was wonderful. We will definitely be going to Maria's soon! more

Greek food isnt hard to make so you epxect the service to not take a good lifetime. the food was up to par but between the lazy waitress who would never offer us a drink and the chef that too forever to make a simple pita i lost my apatite on pita bread and humus. there is only so long a person can wait when a waitress is busy having a good time while your sitting parched patiently for a simple meal that should in no way take over 30mins to prepare! the food howeever was very good so i would go back but maybe call in my order beforehand? not good for lunch since it will take up the whole lunch hour. more

Maria's Greek Restaurant 9/13/2005

I was getting bored with the food I was eating. So I tried Greek food. I got disappointed. This place does was not as good as I thought. I didn't really like it that much. I thought the menu was kind of weird. It's not a good place to hang out for teenagers. It's not a good place to hang out for adults. Definitely not children. It has this weird religious background to it. I was not up for that. That was my first time and my last time there. more

I was impressed! 8/18/2005

I went to this Greek restaurant Maria's with a few friends of mine. I expected the food to be awful because everytime in the past, when I had Greek food, I did not like it. However the food here was really good. I had the pork dish and the meat was quite tender and savory. I would go back there againa and recommend others go there as well. more
