I bought a gift certificate from Restaurant dot com for Marimonti's. However, when we went to use the certificate we were told the owner has since decided not to honor the gift certificates and will not reimburse us for it. We had very poor customer service and no offer to work the situation out. The reasoning we were given changed three times during the conversation. Ultimately, I think the owner issued the certificates when business was slow. Now that business has picked up they don't want to honor them. more

My friend and I heard great things about this place and decided to give it a try. The wait staff was stunned and seemed to not know what to do or how to do it. I ordered the stuffed flounder and it came out overcooked and cold and looking like it was from a box in the frozen food section of your local grocer. My friend's pasta was lukewarm and my side pasta dish was literally cold. I sent my entree back and got an order of the penne. By the time I got it, my friend was done eating but the food was hot and decent. The bill came and no compensation except for the fact that the waitress (who was the manager) gave me a break by not charging for the asparagus. Wow... Bad food, bad service, inconvenience and voila... no tip. We won't be going back and we will be letting our co-workers know about this fantastic little Italian joint.... NOT! Bonne chance!
