Worst Service/Food 4/8/2010

I went on a week night, not too crowded. The waiter ordered our drinks, then ten minutes later told us they were out of some ingredients so we had to order a different drink. We did, and even then the drinks weren't that good. Finally our waiter came over to take our order and took all of our orders. (not alot of us, very small group. also didn't write anything down) when our orders came, every single order was messed up in some way. Our waiter didn't show up until later to give us the check, so we couldn't send back the food. When we looked at the check, all the items on the bill were not wat we had ordered. This was awful service, and I don't plan on visiting this restaurant again. Pros: Nice location Cons: Awful service, food is disgusting, out of almost half menu more

Nice to go once a month 5/22/2008

Was there last night after a long long time and was pleasantly surprised.. The food wasn't too bad .. Just the right quantity and the service was nice and personable.. We (me and a couple of my girlfriends) ordered from their vegetarian menu and split the dishes.. They were really gracious abou bringing us extra dishes and all.. Pros: Fun Place Cons: Could get crowded on weekends more

Terrible service and food, but a pretty good Margarita and chips 10/9/2007

As the level of food quality and service continue to escalate in Waltham, Margaritas continues to slide. The space and the location on the Charles are great, but the food and service are not at the same level. There is a large number of waitstaff always willing to sing ""happy birthday"" but not nearly as willing to clear your dirty plates. The food is bland and represents the fact that Margaritas is a theme park more than a restaurant. If they focused as much on the food as they did on handing out mariachi hats, they would have the best Mexican in the Boston area. Not worth the trip, unless you just want a Margarita and chips at the bar. Pros: Margarita, chips, ambience Cons: Service, Food more

arrogant staff 7/27/2005

I have been to Margaritas several times and have enjoyed the food and drinks, but some of the staff are the rudest I have ever dealt with. They also now seem to cater to a smoking crowd, who surround the entrance (covering you with their filthy smoke when you try to enter) and who think their entire party can come and go from the bar for large periods of time and expect their table to be theirs when they return. The management needs to do something about this or they are going to continue to lose patrons. Pros: food, patio Cons: smokers, bartenders more

Atleast it's Pretty 7/13/2004

I am a local and have been in a few times. The food isn't that great, although the restaurant itself and outdoor patio is just beautiful. The ambiance is fun and the drinks are yummy. I would only go for the scenery and drinks. Pros: Ambiance, outdoor tables, drinks Cons: , food, food more
