I had a very poor experience:\r \r Expensive:\r Matt wanted $950 to replace a fuel pump. I took it elsewhere and got it done for $420.\r \r Questionable honesty:\r Was told my power window motor needed to be replaced - something I had recently replaced myself with a working part.\r \r Pushy:\r Constantly interrupted. Questions regarding charges were met with accusations of not respecting his business. Very unpleasant to communicate with.\r \r An excerpt:\r Me: "Matt, if you didn't know you were going to be charged for something, and then were charged, would you be frustrated?"\r Matt: "No."\r \r Condescending:\r Had to listen to many lengthy analogies explaining things such as what a warranty is. I know what a warranty is. I feel like most people know what a warranty is.\r \r Rude to women:\r Matt audibly scoffed at a middle-aged woman at the shop by herself - to her face - when she questioned whether her repair would be cheaper without replacing one of the parts he was selling her.\r \r I'd really recomme more

I'm a single mom and I know that I can depend on the guys at the shop to take care of all my vehicles and not rip me off. They provide friendly, quality service and go out of their way to help their customers. Even with this harsh winter, Matt and all of his team worked overtime trying to service as many vehicles as they could. They worked late hours to make sure those that relied on plows for an income would have everything in working order to get out there and plow for the community. They all take very good care of my family and me. Very reliable and I know I'm in great hands! Would not take my car anywhere else. They have my full trust and confidence! more

I recently found iut the owner Matt has had innapropriate contact with my wife. If he doesn't care about someone's marriage why would he care about your vehicle? more

DO NOT go here. I got talked into taking my vehicle here instead of elsewhere for an inspection and i am regretting it. It needed new pads and rotors When I would brake the vehicle would pull to the right but after i refused an estimate of almost $1000 i got it back the brakes literally did not work at all. AT ALL! I literally had to hit the curb to stop the truck in the parking spot. I do not think they intentionally messed up my vehicle but they good customer service would be giving the vehicle back in the same condition it was in when you recieved it. Besides that it is obvious Matt and his crew are a little pushy as i was interrupted several times and they do not take hardly any ""care"". The guy that picked it up whipped out of the parking lot like a flash, started it up and vroom vroom, did not even let the engine sit for five seconds. Poor service and poor quality care. Do not bring your vehicle here unless you want to pay way more than you should. more

I do NOT recommend sending anyone there because recently I had concerns with my vehicle and had it towed into the shop for a professional opinion. After dealing with a somewhat polite employee and receiving different phone calls to confirm the work needing to be done everything was all set. (Some repairs offered were not nearly as necessary as others but things ended up being taken care of) The main reason I will COMPLETELY NOT RECOMMEND anyone coming here is the lack of care, respect and customer service skills the upper management has. \r While starting a conversation with a woman at the front desk who started the conversation by putting chips in her mouth, she continued the conversation with food still in her mouth, which was absolutely disgusting.\r I requested a call from someone who would know more information about the repair work and she had a Matt (to my knowledge the owner) give me a return call. My college age son took his '06 PT Cruiser to repair the air conditioning. I'm in Alabama. They appear to have marked up the parts 100%. Replaced a radiator support, mounts, ac line and expansion valve line plus evacuated and recharged the AC. Cost.... $1146. I thought this was too high. I wished my son shopped it around. I called the Chrysler Dealership to confirm the parts were marked up. By the way the dealership said they did not mark up parts. The repair fixed the problem. The damage was related to hitting an icy mound that contacted the front radiator bracket which damaged lines. The Expansion Valve Line was plugged which they replaced after they recharged the first time. You be the judge on cost of repair. Pros: null Cons: null more

What a blessing to have found a repair facility that operates the way things should be. Honest, friendly, reasonably priced. It is how I remember things being as a youngster. I would recommend this station for any repair needs. Why would anyone go elswhere? more

I brought in a Cherokee with three problems: cruise control, AC/heat blower and a surging engine. They found a loose vacuum line, popped it back on and voila. Done. Saved me enough in anticipated repairs to pay for new shocks, which I needed. Pros: Honest, Fast, Drop Of and Pick Up Cons: None that I can see more

As a single woman, there is no other like Haslett Marathon. The honesty and integrity are old fashion. I have never felt pressured or intimidated by Matt or his staff. I would recommend them for any service needed. You wont be disappointed!!!! more

Haslett Marathon is still a classic garage with a car repair service. They are able to handle diagnosis and repair in a reasonable fashion, and I've had reasonably good experiences with them. If your car is a bit older, they will tell you all the things that are subpar about it--so you will have to prioritize your self what needs fixing and what can "wait a bit". more
