I can't get over the fact that the Nutters set up this wonderful place in the middle of nowhere in Orange County. It's a great treat any time of year, but a must on a summer afternoon. I can't think of a better destination to bicycle to.
You get your ice cream in the building, and go outside to grab a rocking chair on the porch overlooking the cow pastures. Your fellow ice cream eaters will add interest to your experience...they could be soccer kids, out-of-towners, local farmers, a flock of bicycle riders, you name it.
The down side? The ice cream is ok, but most of the flavors aren't pronounced enough to my taste. To me, that's less important than the experience of enjoying this part of rural Orange County, but if they could just step the flavorings up a notch, this place would be Nirvana.
Pros: The view, the cows, the people
Cons: The ice cream is kind of bland
