Manunts, Marina, DDS Northeast Family Dental

I would like to add to the fans of DR. Manunts and her staff. How refreshing in this day and age to find a dentist who has such expertise and personality too! She recently new the answer to my sons horrific pain when no other doctor could figure it out, (and we went to Many). I usually do not post comments but felt the Dr. deserved this one. I having been seeing Dr. Marina Manunts since she opened the doors of her Ithaca practice.She has been there for me in a few emergency dental visits, guided me with preventive dental care and most recently she made me a beautiful smile. I haven't smiled showing my teeth in years. Marina listens to your needs and together you plan for your dental care. She is kind, compassionate and a VERY skilled dentist. I am blessed to have her as my Dentist ! I love her staff from reception to teeth cleaning everyone cares and is very knowledgable. more

First met Marina as my dentist and we quickly became friends. She cares for my family (teeth and all!). Marina is caring and thorough and refers out when needed. Marina offers acupuncture which I first experienced at her previous group practice. I love it. It helps alleviate or decrease need for novocaine plus I feel better the rest of the day, more centered and calmer. Very convenient office location near the mall, Lansing, airport, grocery store. Bright new office with state-of-the-art minimal radiation X-ray machines. Lovely warm staff. more

I was visiting ithica and had a problem with one of my teeth. I went in and saw Dr. Marina. She was very friendly and helped me right away. Great Experience! more

My family and I are new to this area and the most disturbing change was finding a new Dentist. My children are very nervous and upset when even the mention of a Dentist or Family physician's appointments are made. When I introduced my children to Dr. Manunts they were very scared and started crying. She very gently took each child individually into her examination room and actually taught them a new vocabulary. Within minutes the child was laughing as she mentioned, sprinkles, bubbles and chickens. As I watched out of site and heard my child laughing I frankly couldn't believe what I heard. I must say after each child was examined they returned to the waiting room laughing and sharing their experience with us. Thank you Dr. Manunts you are a blessing to our community. more

I have been a patient of Dr. Manunts' for over 8 years, starting at her first practice, when I met her as an emergency patient. I followed her when she opened her private practice bringing my family with me. She has great skill and a very professional staff that treats you like family. She has done root canals, fillings, crowns and extractions (just to name a few) and neither my wife or I have had any problems. In fact, we refer our dearest friends to her. Bringing small children to the dentist is usually a daunting task, but Dr. Manunts has a calming effect on my children and handles them perfectly. more

She was part of a practice with my regular dentist, I saw her when he wasn't available. The work she did was terrible! I had to have an otherwise healthy tooth filled to correct a gap she created and she did a root canal that I don't think was necessary. There are many other much better dentists in the area. more
