This hardware store is great! They have a little bit of everything that you might need and they are so friendly! When we were fixing up our house, I was in there practically every day and they knew my name! I find that they usually have what I need, at a reasonable price. I almost forgot how helpful they are! You don't get that kind of service at the bigger stores. It doesn't matter how clueless I am about what I am really looking for, they always help me find what I need. more

Manoa has it all 2/2/2006

Manoa is the quintessential corner hardware store. It has a little of everything. When you're having trouble finding something at a big store, check Mapes, they'll be sure to have it. Also, they are friendly, even to animals. One year they had a duck nest in their bags of mulch outside. They barred a customer from shopping there for disturbing the duck! more
