From beginning to end...Great! 7/9/2008

This place hits a home run in every category; the food is phenomenal (it's a steak house but they have a pretty good dinner menu as well a la craft but better i guess); the service backs it up; and it's amazing decor (part hipster/ part hussy is the only way I can describe it). It's a destination spot for sure with no major entertainment anchor near by so it's refreshing to have a dinner house to go early and stay late and not have to deal with parking 3km away. Judging by the reviews I'm not alone. We went on a Friday night, had dinner upstairs in the ""god father"" booth atleast thats what the server said it was. After dinner we stayedto go in the bar, a house music DJ set up ""behind"" the bar; fairly one dimensional as he wasn't able to even get me a beer, but whatever. We live in floral park which is very close by and one of the manager's offered to give us a ride home after a few of their tonics. Have you ever herd of anything like that? I recommend this place for those over 21. Call ahead for a booth. Pros: Definitely a good value and way to spend the night Cons: Very easy to drop some coin more

Best Restaurant in OC!!!! 7/9/2008

I love this restaurant!!! The food was spectacular, service was timely and professional and the atmosphere is different in each room to match the decor. What a place for Orange County! If you are looking for a place to take someone and impress them without breaking the bank this is the place for you. Thank you, thank you, thank you is all I can say to who ever owns this restaurant!!! Pros: Food, decor and service Cons: None that I found more

the dinner and servace are great. highly reccomend for lunch. I took about 15 friends after a promo at the convention center and we had a blast in the bar. 80s music! it's about time we had something new in the area. more

Highly Recommend... Exquisite food 5/14/2008

The food is excellent, flavorful, with great presentation. We throughly enjoyed our dinners. \r I can recommend the braised shortribs and chicken...I haven't tried the steaks yet..but\r I plan to on our next visit.... Our server pampered us and they even prepared a special \r vegetarain dish for a member of our dinner party. Also, the chocolate molten cake was \r yummy!! more

I can't believe it 5/8/2008

this might be, and probably is, the coolest restaurant behind the curtain. we went on friday and it was a total blast plus the food was perfect. they're also very 'green' minded. good job so keep it up. are you related to the ones in Manhattan? ~ woo-hoo for the first review Pros: absolutely gorgeous inside Cons: in Orange? never. more

nicely prepared French style food 11/17/2006

This restaurant is close to where I work and we have had several celebrations there. The food is pleasant but I was disappointed this week to see they were no longer serving scallone. Very few places serve scallone and the restaurant did it up nicely. But unfortunately it was no longer on the menu. People in our group were disappointed by the ""house sandwich"" but those of us who ordered entrees were happy. They have excellent rolls, also. I had trout almondine and it did not have 1 bone. It was done in a lemon, buttery sauce that was very pleasant. Pros: nicely prepared French entrees Cons: find another vegetable-get rid of the peas more
