Today, Oct. 1, 2008, I brought my 97 years old father for his 3:15 appointment. Upon arrival my father was chilled. We requested a blanket, towel, or anything to cover him up. They refused this request. Then it turned out that his appointment was actually the previous day. A week prior they called and confirmed the wrong date. Mistakes happen, but no one was concerned enough to inquire about his missed appointment. So, we showed up today with no appointment. I spoke with the apparent office manager, Ellen, who wanted to know when, and why my father started coming to this practice. When I started to briefly inform her, she ignored me, and walked away. Shortly after, she offered to see my father 2 hours later. When I reiterated the above concerns, she attempted to trivialize the issues. We left, unseen, with no intention of returning. When we requested a referral to another medical group, they refused.
