Best

The food is delicious. The eggplant parmesan is out of this world! If you want Italian food, this is the best I have found in Tennessee.

Editorial review from Citysearch 3/6/2013

I have to say they have the best Pizza in town and thats not saying much being I've had amazing pizza in lots of places I have lived in and traveled to. They are not amazing, however like I said the best in town. Though it is the best in town I will never set foot in that place again. When Rosa herself and her son Doug are running the front forget service! The last few times I have walked in to pick up Pizza either one of them and one occasion both were there and neither one would wait on me and the three other people waiting to pick up their pizza's! Instead you have to wait on one of their poor overworked servers who are covering the floor to put those customers on hold so they can come and take care of the carryout orders. Don't think about calling and complaining Rosa becomes irate. They lost my business and the three other people that were waiting; one of them made the mistake to complain while they were there Rosa was far from providing customer service they left without their order. You've been warned good pizza but incredibly crappy service provided by the owners themselves! more

Great food, Slow service 6/2/2008

I have enjoyed Mama Rosa's food for many years. The food is so good, you can overlook the time it takes for an order to be delivered. If you are in a hurry (perhaps meeting people or planning to catch a movie) forget it. You will be full and late. \r Their pizza's are good. They have two kinds, thin and thick. My favorite is the thick. The Strombolis are good too. \r While the wait staff is alway friendly, management is rude and couldn't care less for your business.\r For large parties, it is good to have reservations and lots of time. Pros: Good selection, great taste Cons: Long wait times more

Best italian around 7/9/2007

By far the best pizza. Meets the New york style taste without a doubt. Also the children eat free on Monday nights! more

Great Pizza! 2/2/2006

Set a back from the main drag, Mama Rosa's is located in a quaint little ""house"" with excellent ambiance! The pizza and calzones are delicious and I have yet to find canolis close to those you can get here. Great for lunch or dinner! Pros: Great Food, Good Parking, Good Value Cons: Can't think of any! more
