Check in was good - the young lady behind the desk (Kelly) was very helpful. This is an older hotel and the room has older furniture but the room was clean which is what matters to us. Breakfast was continental and we thought the selection was… good and ample. We were pleased they did not provide a waffle machine! The room had a microwave and fridge but did not have a coffee maker. We made use of the laundry which was a very fair price compared to others we have used on our trip. We would stay there again in the same room for the same price. more

Fine Room at surprisingly low price. We both travel for business and for pleasure, and would not have stopped here if it had not been for the other user review. Everything said was correct! The rooms are only adequate in size, but beds are new, comfortable, clean and well cared for (no signs of wear, holes in blankets, etc). more

In peak leafpeeper season, the price for our nonsmoking double room (with internet discount coupon) was $42. It was good sized and absolutely immaculate. Two big new beds, cable, new TV and sm. fridge. Rooms don't face the road, so noise is minimal. Continental breakfast included, pleasant helpful staff. A very positive experience! more

it was clean, the bed was comfortable, there was a desk for my laptop, good internet access, a micorwave to heat up a takeaway meal, laundry which was very economical and handy and small fridge which was appreciated. more

Because of the flooding in New England (Oct 2005) we encountered multiple detours and didn't arrive till past midnight; the innkeeper was waiting for us with our key, and kindly suggested we wait till morning to deal with the paperwork. I travel for business and stay at all the fancy Hiltons, etc. - the Maine Line was cleaner than some $200/night rooms in which I have stayed. The beds may not be as plush, the linens not so posh, but hey, for $120 for two nights, I would recommend this to all more

I called and made a reservation and only had to pay $65 per night. This was during the summer, during peak travel time. Also, this was cheaper than any rate I saw online. They have a very friendly staff and clean rooms. more

We stayed three nights. We were pleased with the price/value ratio. Everything is very modest, but very clean and particularly the mattress was a lot better than one would expect at this price level. Wireless internet access worked. What else does one really need, other than a good mattress and internet. There is an iron and board in the room and a hair dryer.Overall we were very pleased with the stay and will stay there again. more

short distance off the highway 4/26/2011

The rooms had a microwave and good size refrigerator. We swam in the outdoor pool, which was obviously clean. The hotel was located only a short distance off the highway. There were fast food restaurants, coffee shops, a diner and gas stations right nearby. more
