Worst ever experience. The office may be beautiful and easy to access. However, if every time I go see a doctor I always have to wait 30 min plus, what is the point of setting up an appointment?\r \r This time, got an 8:50 appointment for annual check up. got there at 8:40, checked in and waited. after 25 minutes of waiting, I asked the receptionist to see how long is it going to be? I was told ""soon"". Waited for another 10 minutes, finally, I was called to the examine room. after taking my blood pressure and weight, I changed and sat on the table and waited again. Unbelievably, I have to wait another 15 minutes before the nurse practitioner came in. \r \r I decided to leave and the nurse practitioner said, well, we only need 5 minutes and you will be done. Exactly, only 5 minutes of her time to examine me, so, explain to me why do I have to wait for a full 50 minutes? Do they think that our time is not valuable? the nurse practitioner then said, we could either go thru the exam, or I have to schedule another appointment to come back. Guess what, I am leaving and will go to another service provider whom will treat patients the way they want to be treated.\r \r I have been a patient for Main Line Women's Health care for the past 20 + years, the service quality is going down hill and the worst thing is, they don't think there's anything wrong for us to wait over 30 minutes without reason. \r \r Spoke with other patients waiting with me, they all echo the same problem with this practice. I am leaving for sure, hope Main Line Women's Health could re-evaluate their service and provide better customer service to their patients. more

Nothing but good experiences 5/16/2011

I've been going to Main Line Women's since I was 22 (9 years). All of the doctors are highly professional, and the staff has always been nothing but incredibly sweet. I just had my first child, and I had a healthy, comfortable pregnancy for all 9 months because of their honest and thorough care. Their treatment before, during, and after delivery was so complete and well done, I was able to discharge from the hospital a full two days earlier than I had expected. I called once with a question/concern, and received a call back from a doctor within an hour. They have six strong doctors there - I have seen and would recommend any one of them. more

DO NOT GO THERE!!! 2/24/2011

Horrible experience, aside from the bad office staff, uncomfortable office and long wait time. The doctors are rude. Once when I called for emergency I was yield at for bothering the doctor! I also got pregnant because of their incompetence!!! more

Don't go to this office 1/4/2011

I had nothing but bad experience with the service in both office sites: one in plymouth meeting and the other in Lancater road. The staff are very impatient and inconsiderate. Most of the doctors are the same. I had a miscarriage. I called the emergency line 3 times for the whole morning and nobody returned my call. And they never call you for the lab results. They even copied my insurance id wrong, which led to no coverage on my lab test. I will never go back to this office. more

Rude and not compassionate 12/9/2009

Sadly, I have had nothing but bad experiences with this office. I have tried to be patient and stick with them, but they have continually showed lack of consideration or compassion. \r \r After my first pre-natal first visit there I was told I’d be called back with my lab results. No one called me and I had to call them a total of 4 times before the doctor finally called me back with the results. She seemed annoyed when she called me, but then realized that there was actually something odd with the results and suggested that I had to come in for an ultrasound. \r \r When I did come in for an ultrasound it turned out that I had a missed abortion. When I left I was told to not worry about the copay, which I was trying to pay. Then I got a bill in the mail for it. Hello…don’t tell me not to worry because you feel bad for me and then send me a bill for it. \r \r The second time I dealt with them, I had to call the on-call doctor because I was pregnant and had started bleeding. She told me to come in for an ultrasound. Again I called twice trying to get a doctor to call me back during business hours to find out when to schedule it for and no doctor called me back. When I finally decided to just schedule it for whenever there was an open slot, the person over the phone was very rude. I told her I couldn’t make the time that she was offering me and she said that I could go somewhere else. After I hung up I started crying because she was just so rude and unkind. Just a horrible and unprofessional attitude. \r \r I don’t know if it is just lack of communication among the office staff, but it just produces a sense of unkindness and disregard for the patients. A woman is sensitive enough when she is going through this. Dr. El Mallah I have to say is very sweet and kind. I was also seen by another doctor though who was cold and uncaring. I am just very disappointed that I’ve been treated in such a rude manner and that I will now have to search for a new office. Pros: Dr. El Mallah Cons: everything else more
