I had MaidPro come out to my apartment after I moved into my apartment in September because the previous tenants didn't bother cleaning up before they left. I was very impressed by how well the cleaners did, not to mention managing to clean areas I didn't expect them to (because we were still unpacked in a few rooms).\r

Don't be mistaken by their name though - they may have maid in their name but they really only clean surfaces and won't tidy things up. I didn't know this until after the cleaning, we didn't really need that kind of thing. Like I said, they even cleaned the floors in the room that we (my roommates and I) hadn't unpacked yet. They wiped down countertops, the sink, practically everything in the bathroom (including the unidentifiable marks on the bathroom door!), mopped the floors, got rid of the dust bunnies caused by the carpet piece in one of the bedrooms.\r

It was a nice feeling to come home to a clean apartment. After surveying the place looking to see what they had done, I even found myself with a smile on my face (I'm not the kind of person who cleans unless someone is coming over). And I was happy with the little things - the maidpro sticker on the toilet paper (even cutely folded!), sparkling kitchen sink, even finding out that my roommate's boyfriend was warmly greeted by the cleaners when he stopped by midday.\r

The person on the phone suggested I get recurring service instead of a single cleaning, and I think I'll take him up on it. The few times I've used a cleaner I've usually accepted that they would miss things and not deeply clean certain things (like the bathtub) but maidpro, as far as I can tell, was refreshingly different.\r

If you're looking for a nice service to make things clean and shiny (but don't have a problem with tidiness), maidpro is an excellent choice.
Pros: clean surfaces everywhere, little touches like the folded toilet paper
Cons: they won't pick up after you
