We hired Maid in the NW after our regular housecleaner was sick. We discussed our house size and needs over the phone and she said she would send a team of two. Quoted $36/hr, which ended up being PER PERSON. At 5pm when I arrived home, cleaners stated that ""they had to go"" and ""there was no way they could finish the job,"" even though they hadn't even arrived until 2pm. They had cleaned one floor out of the three in the house (we told the owner it was a large, 3500 sf house). They broke a glass (no big deal) and indicated that we could just call up and the owner would take it off our bill. We didn't receive any sort of bill, and then received a charge for $273 on our card. When we called the owner to discuss, we were told that we hadn't contacted them soon enough (this was 8 days after the charge appeared without even sending us a bill). When we said we never received a bill, she said we should have given her an email address (she never asked for one - apparently we were supposed to spontaneously offer this information to her?) She billed more hours then they worked, charged $39 per hour per person, and made no accomodation for the fact that they didn't even finish the job. She also said we would have to go buy another glass (purchased from a specialty store not near our house) and send her the reciept before she would credit the cost. TERRIBLE customer service and overpriced, poor cleaning. Do not use.
