I hired them to do a ""deep clean"" of my kitchen and of my bathroom. These rooms are pretty grimy---not the worst out there, but certainly needing a good deep cleaning, hence the service I hired. But a lot of grime was not even touched: Bathroom gunk in the shower stall grooves was still there; the floor had bits of accumulated wet dust pushed against the wall; other debris was not picked up and just pushed against the wall. The kitchen had a wall spattered with sticky oil, which had been there since before I'd moved in 11 years ago---and it took my patient but exasperated brother-in-law only half an hour to scrape off when he saw that the maid hadn't even tried to tackle it. Also on that wall, near the ceiling, were little dustballs. The area beneath the microwave was not touched at all; I saw she'd moved the microwave over a couple of inches, but that was it. I'm not sure how a standard cleaning service is defined, but I think a deep cleaning service should at the very least rid the surfaces of dust and grime that can easily be removed, at least by ""deep cleaning"" standards. I will not be using their services again. It does not make sense for them to guarantee quality service if the service in the end proves less than satisfactory; for that reason, they should allow for a refund or a partial refund if a complaint is registered, but they said there are no such refunds (their site doesn't say anything about this), and what they offered me instead was an additional two-hour cleaning for free. No thanks. I took pictures of the neglected areas, in case anybody wants to see how spots were not even touched.
