Great people who come when you need them! 7/31/2013

Both times Mahoney Plumbing Inc. came out, it was because of a problem. They got here IMMEDIATELY. The first time, my sewage pipes were backed up. They came right out and fixed it all despite a bad storm. The second time, my basement flooded. I called them right away again, they showed up quickly, and they stayed with me throughout the whole process. Great service. more

I love Mahoney Plumbing! 7/1/2013

I love Mahoney Plumbing! I've used them for over 40 years. Originally it was the father and now it's the son. They've been spectacular. Always on time. Always neat and tidy. I can't say enough good about them. You can trust them. They are very informed - they know their stuff. I don't think I'd use another plumber, I think I'd wait because they have come to me in an emergency. more

The best plumbers I've worked with. 4/5/2013

I've had Mahoney Plumbing, Inc. do work for me at home and at my business. I've met 5 different service guys who have come out to do work. All of them have been very knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and conscientious. Not only did they do a great job getting the work done, but I enjoyed meeting them and talking with them. I have already referred them to a number of friends and business associates. more

I've been using Mahoney Plumbing for a long time. They take care of all my things in my house. If I have a problem, they're there right away. They're totally dependable and whenever they fix something, I'm confident that it's fixed right. more

They did very good on a challenging job. 11/13/2012

It was a very complicated job. Very complicated. Mahoney Plumbing removed a radiator system throughout the house, which was 85 years old. The pipes ran all the way through it, from the basement up to the third floor. They removed it in the middle of summer, when it was 98 degrees out, and in my attic it was probably 120 degrees. The conditions were terrible, so that made the job extremely difficult. Then they installed a HVAC system that had been specified by a very sophisticated consultant. It was a very involved HVAC, and then they had to tie in talking thermostats. It took them weeks to do this, and it was very unknown what was ahead. They kept working with a very picky consultant. He was also very, very smart, but this was probably one of the hardest things they had done recently. They stayed there to help with balancing and to make sure it was doing what it was supposed to do. They were great. Also, I've been a client of theirs for 25 years. I'm not a newcomer at all, and this was by far the most difficult thing I would ask a plumber to do. It's a big job. I can't believe Dan did it. He sort of stuttered when I said I was going to pull out the radiator system, but they met a very difficult challenge. more

Outstanding 7/11/2012

Mahoney Plumbing replaced our furnace and a compressor. It was a process that took all day. It was very hot outside and in our house and the men worked very hard all day. They came in the morning at a quarter to 8 and left at about 6:30pm. They could not have been nicer or more diligent in their job. They're just an outstanding company. We have been using them for many years and we will continue to use them. more

Customer-focused experience, professional service, and very friendly. 6/8/2012

We always use Mahoney Plumbing, and they've always been very good and quick to respond. We've got an old house, and it's not easy to get people to work on really old houses. They really will come up with solutions for us. If they don't think we need to change something, they're honest about it. The even came out on Christmas Eve, and they've never complained. Mahoney Plumbing is always there to help. They have excellent customer service, and they're pleasant to deal with. more

Very personalized service. 5/16/2012

I have gone through a lot of plumbers and Mahoney Plumbing, Inc. is the only one that is going to stick. They have replaced our sump pumps, fixed a leak under a toilet, and rodded a pipe to remove the roots of the tree. The work has been perfect, they've done an excellent job. We haven't been tested with the rain yet but we're confident that the sump pumps will do what they're supposed to do. The thing I liked most about them is that they don't send out light experienced people. The people that have worked in my house have all been smart and experienced. more

Very efficient, competent, and nice to work with. 2/23/2012

Mahoney Plumbing filled my needs right away. He was able to accommodate and fix my needs almost immediately. I've been using them for two to three years now, after I was recommended to them by my heating and air guy. They came and were prompt, neat, and efficient, and they left everything in a clean, neat way. They're dependable and reliable. more

A really good organization. 12/30/2011

Mahoney Plumbing is super excellent. It is a really good organization. We had an enormous problem with a toilet and they came the last few years a dozen times to service it. At the end of the day, when the problem recurred, it was determined to be a manufacturing defect. Even though the toilet was out of warranty, Mahoney argued on our behalf to get the manufacturer to replace it, and we were very pleased with that. more

Dennis is Superman! 11/18/2011

I only have glowing things to say about Mahoney Plumbing, Inc. Really, no complaints at all. The plumber I use is Dennis McDonald. I would continue to use Dennis if he worked for Satan! I've known Dennis since grade school! When he was a kid, he knew he wanted to be a plumber, because you'll always be needed by people and when you fix the problem, you're Superman! Dennis is great, always has been. He is professional, friendly and down-to-earth. He is the one and only plumber I'll call! more

Everything you want in a service company. 10/5/2011

We've used Mahoney Plumbing, Inc. for plumbing, heating and AC services. They are dependable and very honest. We've kept our furnace for twenty-five years and never once did they try to force a new one on us by saying we needed to update, whereas some companies might. They give us a good price, provide great customer service and do great work. They are extremely responsive to my calls and always arrive on time. Really, I can't say anything negative about them. They are just what you want in a service company. I'm always impressed by how quickly and efficiently they work. I'd recommend them to anybody! more

I've been using Mahoney Plumbing for a long time, and they're great! Most recently, they did the work on a generator. They do all my plumbing in the house. They're here I would say 3-4 times a year for different things, and they are very good. I wouldn't call anybody else. C. Scher more

great continuing attention to my plumbing concerns. 8/8/2011

They are honest, hard working, pay attention to detail, know my home and it's history. They brought that historical knowledge to keep my home safe and well serviced. The roots grow in late summer, they know to rod, then. I get a reminder, once I put off acting on their reminder, roots took over. Called them, and they did a great job. Great local company, it's cheaper to do it right the first time. more

Mahoney Plumbing has helped us for years. Most recently, we gutted the kitchen and redid it. They did the plumbing aspect of it, and we're just thrilled! We couldn't be happier. Everything is working perfectly. We have been happy with Mahoney Plumbing for years, and we're happy with what they have done in the new kitchen. We will continue to use them and be happy with them. more

Mahoney Plumbing, Inc. would make Honest Ab proud! 5/31/2011

I have been burnt by so many repairmen throughout the years. I mean, I even fear bringing painters into the house because I'm afraid they'll drip paint everywhere. It's gotten to the point, where I'd rather do things myself, rather then clean up somebody else's mess. Mahoney Plumbing, Inc. has restored my faith in the trades. They do top-notch work. They have done various projects for us over the years. They've installed a new half bath and an AC unit, done sewer work, minor plumbing like routing out drains and faucet work and I have even depended on them to supervise other plumbers! They are very responsive to all of my questions. They are fast and informative. From the time I phoned them to when they delivered a detailed quote proposal, only thirty hours had gone by, and it was professionally done too. They never try to slip additional costs or jobs into their estimates either, which I have noticed happens a lot with other companies in the small print of the contracts. Mahoney is a very honorable company, and that reflects in every aspect of the jobs they do. I think their tone is set by management. The entire team is friendly, knowledgeable, thoughtful, smart, honest, sharp and so very honorable which is especially hard to find in today's world. I trust them and have always been very pleased with them. Every guy they've sent over, I've been happy to have in my home. These are wonderful and trustworthy people. I know if I were to have a problem with anything, they'll be there to fix it immediately. They are in and out and any problem they encounter. Other companies might shy away or just put a bandage on things, not Mahoney! They take care of it and tackle it right then and there. You get what you want and need from Mahoney. Amazing!!! 5/5/2011

Wonderful! I have been using Mahoney Plumbing for years. Every time I call I am greeted by wonderful staff who truly want to help me. The plumbers are courteous, clean and extremely knowledgeable. They always fix my plumbing problems with the best and most cost effective solutions, no gouging me for more services. I trust them completely. Definitely the best plumber on the North Shore! more
