Review content:
It was a very complicated job. Very complicated. Mahoney Plumbing removed a radiator system throughout the house, which was 85 years old. The pipes ran all the way through it, from the basement up to the third floor. They removed it in the middle of summer, when it was 98 degrees out, and in my attic it was probably 120 degrees. The conditions were terrible, so that made the job extremely difficult. Then they installed a HVAC system that had been specified by a very sophisticated consultant. It was a very involved HVAC, and then they had to tie in talking thermostats. It took them weeks to do this, and it was very unknown what was ahead. They kept working with a very picky consultant. He was also very, very smart, but this was probably one of the hardest things they had done recently. They stayed there to help with balancing and to make sure it was doing what it was supposed to do. They were great. Also, I've been a client of theirs for 25 years. I'm not a newcomer at all, and this was by far the most difficult thing I would ask a plumber to do. It's a big job. I can't believe Dan did it. He sort of stuttered when I said I was going to pull out the radiator system, but they met a very difficult challenge.
