The treatment dentist had one office disolved few years ago, and now practice the same way. she lying to parents(not dentist) about x-ray results, did or root cannels on good teeth, and pull out teeth that take years to grow. Pros: lure w/ toys long play time before break their good teeth Cons: Cut the perfect teeth and making money - evil, no ethics more

This place may look pretty and have games/toys to distract the kids but I would NEVER come back or recommend this place. Some of the staff were patient and nice. One X-ray technician basically grabbed my daughter's face when she moved her face (she's THREE for god's sake)! Then I was told that she had multiple cavities and I should get fixed done NOW and that she NEEDS to be sedated! (By the way, My daughter went to another dentist at Hermosa six months ago with no cavities.) So not knowing anything, I let them do the procedure. Stupid me, I know. They sat me down and explained the cost to me (sedation was not covered by insurance and is very expensive $300+). After they were done, my daughter couldn't walk from the drugs so I carried her to my car after they told me that I was done. I got a phone call an hour after I left the office and they told me that if I didn't pay, I would be charged a late fee!!! Seriously? I always thought that dentists bill you for charges (that's how my personal dentist is anyway). If they just let me know in the office, I would have paid it, no questions asked. Did I need to be threatened with a late fee within one hour of leaving the office? I think that this place has making money in mind more than they care about what's ethical to do. Magicland Dental is a great place for children. I bring my niece here, while I myself go to their other location, the Dental Associates of Torrance. Magicland is great because it keeps the kids entertained so they won't get scared and think about drills and other scary dentist stuff. I highly recommend that everyone bring their children to Magicland Dental because it is simply the best! Pros: Great for children Cons: Nothing more

The other reviews are glowing, and with good reason. Quick, efficient, and pleasant, the dentists at Magicland Dental are there for the teeth. I never thought I could actually go to the dentist's office in a good mood instead of dragging my heels and dreading it. Even when I had to get 2 cavities filled this week it was like heaven compared to the long, uncomfortable, drawn out hour or so it took with my previous dentist. My dentist had those suckers filled up in about 20 minutes and I was out the door. Pros: Great Dentists, Friendly Staff, Magical Service more

With something as important as your children's teeth, I really have to recommend not using this dental office. As parents, it is so important for us to make the best decisions regarding our childrens health and it seems like I made a very poor one by chosing Magicland Dental. They seem to hire dentists fresh out of school and you never see the same dentist twice. The office staff are not knowledgable or close to being what you would call polite. If they put as much emphasis on a well trained staff as they do a fun atmosphere, it might be a great place. My daughter is in danger of losing a permanent tooth because the office's staff lack of knowledge. Pros: Fun place Cons: rude staff, new dentists more

The environment of the dental office is created just for kids! The toys, video games, even the miniature door in the center of the office for the children is very cool. The staff was very friendly and try to make you feel at ease while you are there. When the children are called there are tv's in each chair for them to watch their special cartoon. They were very accommodating in trying to make our first stay there as comfortable as possible. And the most important thing was that my son liked it.
