Large portions can't make up for poor service and quality. Our server NICHOLAS was short, indifferent and unaccommodating. Here are a few examples: We were left without bread for 15-20 minutes after our drink order had been taken, and we were only served some after someone in our party asked a random waiter/busser who was walking by. My friend was served a whole chicken and never offered the option of getting the half, which is both what he wanted and expected to receive. Really, what one person eats a whole chicken in one meal? During our meal, I asked for a specific beer. Nicholas returned to our table 3 times before he actually brought the beer, which was the wrong one. I explained that it wasn't what I had ordered and he told me that they didn't have the beer that I wanted. Now, not only had the bartender told me they had this particular beer, but i had ACTUALLY SEEN IT in the fridge before dinner. I asked Nicholas to please check, but he just said they didn't have it and walked away before I could respond. I have been a server and bartender for years and while I am understanding of mistakes regarding service, I will not accept that someone is unwilling to accommodate their guests. Now, onto the food. The whole roasted chicken was said to be good, but my chicken saltimboca was waaayyyy over salted (it's already got prosciutto on it, you can give the salt a rest). The other guest had shrimp arrabiata. The sauce, which was supposed to be a fra diavlo tasted like nothing more than the most basic tomato sauce, no spice or garlic whatsover. Big portions, poor service, sub-par quality. But really, what more can you expect from a chain restaurant?
Pros: Large portions
Cons: service, food
