Since Mae Phim doesn't have a feedback section on their website (yes, they have a website where you can place online orders) - I'll share my feedback with all of you. When Mae Phim is great, it's a delicious cheap lunch, and when they're ""off"" it's a sad dissapointment. My faves are cashew chicken & veggie curry. Their soups are also tasty. Whatever you do, stay away from the pad thai - it's the worst I've ever had. I ordered it the first time I ate there (I ususally consider pad thai to be a good measure of a thai restarant), and I just about never returned due to the noodles with ketchup taste. But it's so convenient! On a dissapointing day you might get mushy rice, oily, flavorless, overly salted food, with an overabundance of sharp undercooked onions. A bad day can curb any Phim craving real quick, and put me back on hiatus. Eventually though, memories of the delicious dishes and savory smells usually lure me back, after all it's close & it's cheap.
Pros: Inexpensive; large portions; convenient; friendly
Cons: inconsistent quality; cramped quarters; sometimes super busy abrupt service
