Mad Hatter Utility needs to bring themselves into the 21st century. Online payment or phone payments don't exist. Very shabby company.

This is the second time that I know I have being charged more then my water comsumption. We pay more then our neighbors that have four kids.\r I am in the home and my wife works most of the day. We have installed water features with sensors so there is no run off, No leaks. And everytime i call to complain i'm told that i must have a leak.we are being charged grossley.\r Our meter can't be read from a kneeling position with your face in the box. I have taken pictures with a good mega pixel camera and the meter can't be read. I asked my neighbors to see if it can be read and they say it can't be read.\r The out come I 'm looking for is that the meter be changed so that it can be read properly..\r I have filled with the BBB, and my next step will be to start a class action suit for anyone who can prove with documintation that they are being overcharged..\r I would suggest you take a photo of your meter everyday and add the consumption at the end of the month to check for inconcistencies. Cons: Where being charged for water that we are not useing. more

TERRIBLE COMPANY!! 10/8/2007

Mad Hatter is about as antiquated as businesses come. They do not accept credit cards, will not answer any question politely, and have absolutely no way to set up automatic payments. Their service and their employees are dull. I have had nothing but problems when it comes to having to deal with their ""customer service"" reps who would rather read you their standard operating procedure (from the manuals they apparently keep on hand at all times) than hear your question and provide a realistic or personalized answer. All in all, if I HAD a choice, I would not be one of their customers. more
