A fine local place for clothing 4/17/2006

When I don't want to fight the traffic to go to the Mall in Boise, it's nice to have the option of parking just outside the old Bon entrance at Karcher Mall. I sometimes pop in to see what children's clothes are on clearance or to look for clothes for myself. Their selection isn't great, but the low-hassle factor has made this a destination. With the new Karcher exit going in, however, the low-hassle factor is a thing of the past. It will be interesting to see if businesses can survive the construction long enough to enjoy the regional growth. more

Clean Nice Store, Poor Selection 4/7/2006

Macy’s is a nice, clean store. However, I am always disappointed in their selection and variety. Especially in their children’s sections. It is always difficult to find what I am looking for for my son and daughter. Also, it is increasingly difficult to find a non-sleeveless dress for my daughter. The ladies’ clothing has more selection and they have a good intimates section, too. The staff is always friendly and helpful, but I just never find what I’m looking for. more
