Mac's Shoe Repair-Alterations

Bad customer service. Had a mixed up ticket issue. Had to argue with owner to get back my item that had my name on it. She then called back later to tell me again that the issue was not her fault, that it was my fault and then hung up on me. Extremely rude, and I will never return. more

Ok ladies, this is the place for you if you have many dress shoes or high heels that needs the tips replaced and whatnot. There service is great and I have always been satisfied. I always take all my clothes and shoes to this place b/c their of their attention to detail surpasses all the other places I been to. The lady up front has always been polite to me and always accomplish my needs. I have heard many great places about this place and have been recommended by others. I literally just walked out of this shop - I brought in 4 pr of shoes - 3 needed to only have the little tap on the heal replaced - any other shoe store I've been to in Chicago, DC, Miami, NY, this has only been a couple of bucks. I also need new elastic for another pr of shoes in the ankle strap. Total came to $52. I was shocked this was so high. I told the woman who owns the store it was too expensive and I would take my shoes elsewhere...her response was something to me in a loud, rushed voice that wasn't in English - assume her native tongue. One can only assume what she said was not polite or proper. It's bad enough to charge insane crazy prices and another to insult customers in a different language.
