I Think this service is awesome. You can check criminal records and even have them copied for free. Girls if you are deciding to date someone, it may sound foolish, but I would recommend a background check on anyone that doesn't come from your neighborhood because too many women have told me...but I didn't know he was in jail; I didn't have any idea he sold drugs and on and on. I think its your responsibility to check! more

I think the best job anyone could ever have is a government job because the benefits are tremendous. My mother-in-law is a former postal office carrier; my sister-in-law is one now. I had to go to the Court Building to take the civil services exam. I was very nervous and this is actually what happened. First I will add that I did take the exam when I was 20 years old and passed it to work as a secretary in a governmental office but I chose than to get married and my plans strayed. So, later in life, I went to the court building to take my exam. As it turns out the typewriter I was trying to do my test on was broke and there wasn't anyone in the room with authority to let them know. The test giver had left the room while we were suppose to be taking the exam. And there were not any open typewriters. So I lost out. I'd have to wait a period of time to take the test but I needed a job right away. That's when I began working for Sacred Heart Rehabilitation Services out in Memphis, MI as a house manager. more

Up on the 5th floor is the Friend of the Court where you either battle for custody; apply for child support or alimoney or all of those things. I'm not gung ho about Friend of the Court because they take a long time for one and the other is that they lose paperwork and make to many mistakes. But who am I? Just a speck in the sands of people who also have to go through this service. Thank goodness, those years are long gone for me. I just really wanted to mention where they are located. more
