SCAM artists- beware of Minh's Auto- rip-off 8/2/2009

Ripped me off for $600- still have the same problem (oil warning light-alarm) as when I left my car with them. I would recommend avoiding this shop like the plague- when I went back with my car they said it "must have been something else" and that i would have to pay them again....$80 to "re-diagnose" and whatever the repairs would cost....I shouldn't have paid them in the first place, but the car worked okay for two days until the problem started again. more

Standing ovation for whomever topped off my fluids 3/7/2009

I bought my car from the Volkswagen Audi place in Bay Ridge. My car recently went out of warranty and I was called in for scheduled maintenance. I thought it was quite odd when they told me now I have to do hundreds of things to fix my car. I decided to take my car to a non-dealership and tried Minhs. So I went in for an oil change and said please check out the whole car because I am going on a long trip. The only thing they said I needed was a new air filter and washer fluid so I was happy. They seem to love my VW. more

Glad I've found this place 10/30/2008

I hate having to go the the dealership when my car has problems. Stupid Toyota dealer. The appointments takes forever, everytime I call Im on hold like forever, & to pay off the bill they give me takes like forever. After I found out about Minhs its just been so refreshing. They go out of their way to make sure Im always happy. The personalized service they give me deserves 10 stars. Pros: 4 Thumbs Up! (include toes) more

Oil change champs! 10/15/2008

My husband & I drove our Ford focus in for a quick oil change. They had us in and out pretty quick. They offered a courtesy inspection on the car & found several things that was neglected by our last oil change place probably because it was stuff the jiffy lube guys doesn't repair so they ignored it & let us drive out that way. I was impressed with how the service rep there are so knowledgable. He made us very happy with maintaining the car there & to drive out knowing the car is in good hands. more

Best Value! 9/20/2008

I exhuasted myself driving around getting estimates for a new alternator for my toyota, Minhs fell in between with reasonable in price. Since their place is much more cleaner & professional, I felt I am getting the best value here. Their service adviser there is a bit of a sweet talker, but he didnt sell me anything I didnt need. I liked how he prioritized things for me and recommended repairs to meet my budget. I'll be going back to fix other things my car needed. more

Talk about customer service 8/22/2008

This place is sweeet. They are very tech-savvy, just what I need for someone with my schedule. Im always on the run so when I drop off my car with a problem I would get a blackberry message from them with my problem identified with pictures & estimates attached. One click later on my phone & I'll know my car will be ready for me to pick-up at my desired time. Ohh yeaah! more

Forever my mechanic 8/11/2008

I have been going to Minh's autocare for many years now. I always trust him to work on all my cars from service engine light problems to transmission repairs. He is always honest and treats me like a family member. I never have to worry about anything when I bring my car to him because I know he will do right by me each time... every time. more

My Air Conditioner is freeezing! 7/21/2008

It was like 100 degrees out and my air conditioner was blowing hot. I went to Minhs for some freon but it didnt need any. He just changed a blown fused and it was freezing cold all over again. Pros: Minhs is the best! Cons: the shop could use a big ac. more

Qualified Guys 7/12/2008

These guys are acdelco mechanics whom specialize in my Impala. I had an electrical problem that the dealer wanted too much to fix so I looked up local acdelco shops and found these guys. The place is quite clean and organized. The customer service rep were very helpful and knowledgeable. They were able to fix my car when the dealer said only they will be able to do it. Thanks Minhs'! more

Awesome shop 7/10/2008

Before I decided to go to this shop. I wanted to see how good they were. I was asking the mechanics questions about my car and they were right on the money. They are quiet knowledgeable when it comes to the BMW's. The staff is very courteous and professional. The transaction was very smooth, I received my car back nice and clean. Pros: Professional & courteous staff. Great Value! more

Fantastic Place 6/19/2008

I made a pit stop in here because my brake light was on & I was freaking out. The customer rep there was well mannered and got me to relax. They checked it out and turns out I was just low on brake fluid. They topped it off and didn't charge me : ) more

Pretty good service 6/14/2008

I was referred here because my regular repair shop doesn't fix Hybrids. I had a check engine light & they had the car ready the next day. I guess the price is not bad for a problem that requires some specialty. more
